The last couple of times we visited the Cracker Barrel in Springfield AR was very disappointing, been eating at The Cracker Barrel restaurants across the country for over 35+years.
I noticed a shift in customer service & quality of food, last time I ordered the Uncle Hershey came like crap, eggs under cooked, sugar cured ham was 2 thin slices on top of that it was 1 side burnt to hell black & flipped over to hide it. I assumed it came with hash browns , which could’ve been my fault but the server didn’t order a replacement substitution, which I felt underhandedly dishonest but that most likely corporate training to reduce cost at my expense.
I’m seriously starting to go to Susan’s an independently owned restaurant just down the road 5mins away by car.

We had to wait a very long time and we understand but when we finally got to sit down they were out of half the stuff on the menu,to say the least after a 1 hour wait,it was not worth it.

Got the shrimp dinner and the shrimp was overcooked! The price they charge no excuses for overcooked food! Waitress was great, everything else was good.

The eggs were cold. You should use warmed plates. The biscuits and gravy was very good.

I ordered pot roast, dumplins and carrots. The pot roast only have 3 bit size pieces of meat and the dumplins only had 1/2 serving. Apparently Cracker Barrel is cutting their portions in 1/2.
