Had a carnitas torta, and I can say it's my favorite torta around now. Not the mustard-forward torta that you get elsewhere (I love that style as well). This is more like a deli torta. Fresh tomato, fresh big cilantro, super smooth carnitas, great browned bread. One of the owners brought us some pork belly - incredibly soft, fatty meat with the fried crispy skin. This place is outstanding. Going to have to keep myself from making myself sick of it. I ate the food too fast...
The best tacos I've ever had. I had the amazing carnitas, chicken (not your average chicken taco...smoked & with crispy skin yes yes), and the most tender barbacoa. My little one had a queso pepusa, which she gobbled up. Vegetarians! Don't be afraid - they cooked up two incredible veggie pepusas for my step mom..she loved them. Super friendly folks running it. Great service !!!! I do training classes for my customers and in and out of restaurant 4 times in one day and they were spot on with my big orders service was great and food is great.
