Where to begin? One of our favorite places to go in northwest Arkansas. Nick behind the bar provides the best experience from beginning to end. Gaskins on Emma is truly our favorite place for food, drink, and atmosphere. Come get a cocktail or glass of wine, grab an app, get a steak. I promise you’ll want to come back 11/10

I’ve been here once for business and most recently for my wife’s 40th birthday party. We had a total of 15 guests. I arrived early and our table was ready, and they allowed me to put a few decorations on it. The server took the cake to the back to store in the refrigerator. Appetizers were on the table when the guests arrived. Andy was a great server, food was delicious, atmosphere was great. I had several guests that complimented the choice and say they’d come back again. The restaurant closed at 9 but we did not feel rushed and were able to finish conversations and enjoy the cake. It’s nice to see establishments like Gaskins on Emma and in general to see crowds of people out and about in downtown. I would happily recommend Gaskins to anyone looking for a nice meal or just drinks with friends.

The atmosphere is modern and comfortable. The bar has some seating, which makes it a great spot to wait for the rest of your party if you have reservations and.
The food is top tier and worthy of an elite dress policy, but the restaurant is warm and inviting, with a casual vibe. They have fun mocktail options and an extensive wine selection. The waiter (Francesco) took note of my dairy sensitivity, which I really appreciated. He was attentive, friendly, and gave excellent service.
I had the 9 oz filet, medium rare with a cup of burgundy soup and sauteed mushrooms on the side. My daughter had the salmon and I tried a bite ... it was perfectly cooked with a buttery flavor that rivaled the filet.
This is a great restaurant with excellent food in a really nice little area of Springdale, perfect for a date night or to bring friends visiting the area.

The restaurant and the staff were excellent. Including the cook. The food was prepared fantastic. But the quality of the steak was about the same as Texas roadhouse.

We've been here twice now, and this may be my favorite restaurant in Northwest Arkansas! Came in for a prime rib dinner and found the meal and cocktails exquisite.

We also stopped by last evening for cocktails and dessert, and the Creme Brulee was wonderful.

We were welcomed upon arrival, the ambience is great. When Andy came to the table, we were even more happy that we decided to dine at Gaskins. I have heard great things and frequent here on business and are unable to enjoy since it is typically Monday evening. The wine, cocktails and food were perfectly executed. The cauliflower dish was my absolute favorite and I can't wait to recreate that dish. It was beautiful and had every texture and flavor that I desired. That Duroc pork chop tho - perfectly cooked unlike a lot of other places. Friendly, fun, great vibes - can't wait to go back!

Andy was wonderful! The food was amazing! OMGOSH highly recommend the ribeye and prime rib. The atmosphere was nice but LOUD which was most likely due to the large party sitting near our table. Will definitely return.

Our first visit to Gaskins on Emma last week was thoroughly enjoyable, despite the fact that our two-person tab—before tip—topped $300. We both opted for the special: an 8oz filet served over wilted spinach and nestled atop a bed of “whipped” potatoes. The meal also included a choice of soup or salad, plus dessert. What truly elevated the special was its pairing with two glasses of vintage Cabernet, one of which I believe was over 20 years old. I’ve always appreciated a good Cabernet with steak, and both pours were excellent. Next time, though, we’ll likely go for a full bottle from their impressive wine list.

My Caesar salad was fairly average—not the standout in Northwest Arkansas—but the filet more than made up for it. Cooked to perfection, it was easily one of the best steaks I’ve had, rivaling even the filet at Delmonico’s in NYC. Dessert was another highlight: the chocolate bread pudding was rich, decadent, and absolutely delicious.

Service was top-notch, and the restaurant’s interior was thoughtfully designed. The only drawback was the elevated noise level, amplified by tightly packed tables that made overhearing nearby conversations unavoidable. If you’ve ever dined at Hugo’s in Fayetteville, you’ll understand the vibe—lively, but not exactly intimate. Our usual spot for upscale dining is Atlas in Fayetteville, which offers a more cozy and quiet atmosphere—something my wife prefers over the bustle at Gaskins. That said, when it comes to price, service, and food quality, I’d say Atlas and Gaskins are on par.

All things considered, I’m looking forward to returning to Gaskins on Emma—especially for the filet and chocolate bread pudding. Hopefully by then, they’ll have found a way to dial down the noise.

10/10. A superb steakhouse. Bert has crafted an extraordinary wine catalogue with the best steaks i have had anywhere, with mind blowing sides to pair with your choice. Gaskins on Emma has become my new benchmark for a night of steak and wine.
