I’m from Chicago so I’m very picky about pizza. The best pizza place is in South Bend, IN. I’ve NEVER seen anyone come close to their pizza, until this weekend!!! Gusano’s was AMAZING!!!!! If they used raw Italian sausage it would be right there on point!!! I really with it was one of these in Benton!!!!! I would be there 2/3 times a week

Always a good pepperoni and Italian calzone. I didn’t enjoy it near as much with COLD Marinara sauce. Disappointed. Hope this is just a hiccup.

Great pizza. Too bad they screw up our order and forget our silverware everytime we come.

Went there for dinner and were the only people there and it still took them over 30 minutes to serve our ONE PIZZA we could see them in the kitchen just standing around smoking and playing on their phones the pizza was cold on top of all that would give less stars if possible WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Pizza is good, but they are almost always short staffed. The staff that are there are very nice and helpful.

We had a reservation for our family group of 14. However, the time frame of receiving our food was ridiculous. We all ordered at the same time but there was obviously a problem going on in the kitchen. Our waitress was fine but... the problem was that we all ate separately because that's how the food was being brought out. We had 5 family's with our group of 14. We were there for almost 31/2 hours and to top it off, one of my granddaughters and her family didn't even get there pizzas served until we were all finished and had there's served in a box to go. We kept asking and we were told it should be 5 more minutes 4 times and still didn't get it served so they finally brought it out in a box because the rest of our group were done eating. The food was good but the management of the kitchen was unacceptable. Your restaurant wasn't even very busy so I really don't understand where the kitchen manager was or if there even was one. Hopefully you'll check in to this and fix your problem or we go elsewhere.

Horrible service. I walked in and seated myself and waited 10 mins and no waiter ever came out to help. One girl was behind the bar on her phone and saw me sit down and didn't bother to help at all.

Meh. It's pizza I guess. Maybe it's my expectations, I was hoping for something better than chain pizza for from a local restaurant. The place was packed and people seemed to be enjoying their meals. The pizza is was just ok. Not good enough to come back again, but not bad enough for me to say it was terrible. Just middle of the road.

Food was good. Customer service was terrible. I will not be returning because of so.

Just save your time and money, go to U.S. Pizza Co. Right down the road.
I see why the ratings are dropping. Terrible service. Let me tell you about our experience. Me and my 8 month pregnant wife come in to eat, the restaurant has two other parties inside, not busy etc. we were sat right away, our beverages were brought quick. We placed an order for some bread sticks and some spinach dip nearly $20 already. When the waitress came to take out order, my wife requested the child’s portion spaghetti...this is where it gets absolutely ridiculous. The waitress said no ma’am I can’t put that in for you. I laughed a little and thought maybe she’s being funny? Not at all! I said, well it’s a child’s small portion right? That’s why it’s $6? It’s a smaller portion. She said it’s not her rules just how it is and we couldn’t order the dish.
She gave us a minute to decide and check on her other table. When she returned I had to ask once more, why we couldn’t order the small portion of pasta, since thats the only way to not have so much waste etc. my pregnant wife doesn’t eat that large of a portion. The waitress said she’s not under 12 ( which nowhere does it mention age restriction) just simply states child’s portion spaghetti. I replied wow, this kind of blows my mind we can’t order that. No sense in paying $13 for a plate of spaghetti that would be wasted!? I then said okay, well what if we just place this order to-go instead and I’ll do a small pizza and we will do the child’s spaghetti. To which she replies, well there is no proof you have a child...what!? You have got to be kidding me. Then she says I can just get my manager if that works for you, I replied yes but My wife just says we can go somewhere else, I don’t like the service and the waitress just walks away.

So we left, the hostess could obviously tell we were not treated right as she was sincere when we were leaving. My wife, already emotional from pregnancy, crying because the long week we have had trying to get moved into our new home. I assured her it was fine, they just have no respect for how they treat guests it seems like. We ended up going to U.S. pizza Co. Just up the street. Our waitress there could see our frustration and asked what was wrong, I didn’t hesitate at all to tell her about our experience! Even the table next to us and the bar got a kick out of what happened! They said our best bet was to come here instead anyway, service has gone down there recently.

To conclude we had a wonderful experience there, the staff was great! My wife got to order what she wanted, and we tipped our server $100 for great service and the fact she never once gave us a hard time about trying to order anything.

Who pays for the dang food anyway when a child’s portion is ordered!?! The adults.

Shame on you Gusano’s shame on you.
The amount of disrespect, how you made us feel, how you treated us. You treated us poorly, not professional or courteous at all. We will do our best to let everyone know how you treat guests.

I’d love to know who owns this place! Won’t be back

My husband and I visit the other Gusano locations (e.g., Bentonville, Springdale, Fayetteville) often and are usually very happy with our experiences, however, this location has been a disappointment every time we use it. Today our pizza looked unfinished and smelled super strongly of mushrooms. The waitress very sweetly offered to have the kitchen put cheese on top (like it usually does!) and stick it back in the oven. When I got the pizza back it still looked horrible, just with half-melted cheese on it now and the strong mushroom smell remained. The smell was so off-putting I had to open the windows on the way home to stand it in the car! I don’t know what the difference is with this location, but the other Gusano locations need to step in and help this one out, or they aren’t going to be in business much longer!

There's a reason that others don't try to offer Chicago Style Deep-dish Pizza. It's in there name, right? I drive a truck around the country, and was happy about the opportunity. So sad. Just bad. You can put a little burn on the edges of the crust, doesn't make a dogfood pizza good. Oversalting is another way to hide the bad taste of your food. This was a salt BOMB.You'd think they'd at least make a solid effort to cut the thing. Nope, had to go to the store to buy utensils to cut my cold dogfood pizza. There's a reason people go out of business then ask these why while crying into their hands.Owners of this joint... you now knew.Oh, forgot also, ordered 2 cups marinara to dip my crust. How many do you think I received?Yep, you got it.Lastly, the crust tastes like there was a flammable agent sprayed on it to give it the Chicago-style look in pictures.Just horrible.

Took forever to get our food and it was okay at best. I hope to see some improvement if I ever go back.
