WOW! I have definitely found my new spot! Not only did my smile go from ear to ear when walking into this place because it is just so beautifully decorated, but I was greeted by the sweetest lady, Wendy! She made my margarita fresh and as requested, and a TAJIN rim!! Sold! Fried calamari was freshly battered (I ate a few before taking this photo) and the quesabirrias were out of this world delicious. I will DEFINITELY be back again!
Food was good but messed up my friends order twice. I don’t know if because the music was too loud to hear us or because communication between staff and kitchen was off. Music was definitely too loud! Had to yell to be heard by the waitress and couldn’t really have a conversation with friends. The place looks amazing tho! The artwork that’s painted on the wall looks awesome.
We ate at Kalaveras in Huntington Beach for the first time last night. It was a wonderful experience for all five of us! Our server, Jonathan was top notch, and he explained the menu to all five of us, to make it easy for us to decide what we wanted to order! He couldn't have been better! The food was outstanding, from the guacamole to our appetizers, entrees and desserts! We are definitely going back soon, and even want to take our friend there when he visits from Washington!...
