Surprisingly good find. First impression was not great because it is located behind a Shell gas station. Not quite where I expected to find a recommend sit down restaurant. But, once inside, the staff was friendly and attentive. And the food was superb. All the pasta is freshly made in house, including the pizza dough. Glad we got there a little early because the place filled up fast. They also do a brisk take out business. Prices were appropriate. Will come back when we're in the area again.

I absolutely love this place! My boss brought me here for lunch a few times and it became a regular place to take my friends and girlfriend. She even hailed MJ’s as her favorite local pizza place! If I were to recommend anything on the menu, it would the the artichoke dip and the tarts flambé pizza, but be sure to add the fingerling potatoes! They had a limited Cajun pizza for special at one points and I still claim that to be the best pizza I’ve had and I try pizza in just about every city I travel to.

Never going back again. We decided to try out this place tonight. Showed up at 5:30 pm, got seated and got our drink orders. Then didn’t see the server again for 15 mins. After putting in our order an hour went by with not a word or check in from him. We had to flag him down to ask when our order was coming and he said “maybe 15-20 mins”. 20 mins went by and I flagged him down again. This time he said “it’s coming soon”. I asked him to define “soon” and he said he would check. The food finally came out after 90 minutes! No apology for the delay or anything.The salad was a joke. It was supposed to have prosciutto on it and there was a single piece about the size of a post-it note on there. The rest was just lettuce. As for the pizza it was incredibly mediocre. Very little cheese and hardly any flavor.We will NEVER go back to MJ’s. Awful service, clearly poor management and very mediocre food for the prices they charge. Any place that serves wood fired pizza shouldn’t take 90 mins to make a pizza. What a joke. I can order a pizza from Domino’s and pick it up in 15 mins!

Called 10:30 on a Sunday to order 3 large pizzas and meatballs. Needed to have them by 11:30 and they said they would. Got there at 11:20 and the host said it would be 10 more minutes. At 11:35 I went back in and was ignored for 10 more minutes until I questioned the host again and he said there was a hole in it and they had to remake the order. Finally by almost noon, another server brought it out with no apology. Pizzas were greasy, not like the past. Have had good experiences here in the past, but no more. If they would have just come out to explain, it would have been much better.

Refreshing experience.No wait during lunch rush.Waitress was knowledgeable, kind, gave great recommendations & took good care of us during our stay.The food was absolutely delicious. Artichoke dip with foccacia bread. Loaded meat pizza. Margherita pizza. Layered chocolate cake with raspberry, fresh strawberries with cookie.Will 100% be going back just for the Margherita pizza. Saucy, crisp, fragrant, cheesy, fresh. Other wood fire pizza places will have very tough & burnt crusts but this was perfect.
One of the better pizzas I've had in the area. They did take quite a while to get it out but it wasn't too bad of a wait. It was great and I'll definitely be going back.
