Been eating there for years. Good food made by good people!Food: 5/5
Best tacos in downtown Springdale. They taste very similar to ones I used to get in SoCal where I grew up. Less TexMex more Northern Mexican style street tacos. They also have Mexican Coca-Cola :)It is more food truck style with a small sitting area in front so expect a more independent, outdoor dining experience.Vegetarian options: They will adjust certain menu items to be vegetarian and serve cheese quesadillas.
A great place to grab a bite when hanging out at Black Apple Cidery. Tacos are delicious and the burritos are big! I always look forward to a night of cider and tacos.Food: 5/5
Amazing street tacos! Cannot get more authentic than this place. Perfect snack while completing the Razorback Greenway. The salsas were fire!
Best. Tacos. Ever. Full stop, the review is done, go get some tacos and enjoy. Need more convincing? Alright, the service is fantastic. Everyone is very friendly and you get your food fast. They not only have amazing tacos but equally awesome tortas and quesadillas. Today I got the chicken and steak tacos, which are $1.50 on Tuesdays, and the meat was perfectly seasoned, the corn tortilla was hot, soft, and a little chewy. Their red sauce adds just enough heat for me, if you want hotter go for the green one. The go to move if you're chilling in downtown Springdale is get some food here, then hop across the street and get an ice cold cider at Black Apple. Sit on the patio and relax!
Nothing compares. Don Guero has the best tortas al pastor in the city. Their sopes are perfect. They're tacos lengua with blow your mind. I don't know what they season their pollo with, but it's probably illegal if it's that good. Just go there and enjoy the greatest food you'll find in Arkansas.
Best tacos in Springdale, hands down. The only thing I wish was different about this place is that it's outdoor seating only. However, that doesn't stop it from always being my first choice for authentic tacos in the area! I went just last week and had the most pleasant experience, per usual. The staff never fails to be so kind and patient. They are extremely prompt with their service. You can order, take your buzzer, walk across the street to Black Apple Hard Cider, and have a drink while you wait on your food. Often, my friends and I will have game nights where we grab tacos from Don Güeros and then bring them over to eat at Black Apple while we have cider and play games. My favorite tacos to order are their asada, carnitas, and lengua!
If you're on Emma Street in nice weather, looking for lunch, seriously look no further. It's outdoor seating only, but the food was absolutely prime and the workers were very friendly. The food came out, piping hot, and in less than 10 minutes. My Carne Asada Torta was FABULOUS, and my buddies burrito was great too. Can't recommend this place enough... I'll be bringing more friends here very shortly.$20 before tax and tip for two people to eat VERY WELL, quality and quantity.
The service was friendly and efficient. The chicken torta had amazing, addictive flavor. The carnitas in the burrito had great flavor as well. We will definitely be visiting again!
Very high quality food and beautiful aesthetic. Really enjoyed the chicken torta and carnitas burrito. Great price as well! I look forward to coming back!
Very authentic Mexican food. Order at the window and wait (not too long) for your food to be prepared to order. They accept credit cards. We typically order tacos (Asada, Pollo, Al Pastor, Carnitas). They have many other types of Mexican food and you can get lengua and tripa if you like.
THIS. PLACE. IS. AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I loved it, the burrito IMO is the best in NWA, the tacos were absolutely stunning, and the service was fast. Everything was hot, ready to eat. Amazing portions for amazing prices. I don't know how this could get any better. Two thumbs up
Tried it for the first time today. I work next door and have been eyeing this place for a while. I got the steak quesadilla and the chips and queso. The quesadilla was good, but lacking flavor. Could be improved with some salt and lime and maybe a little heat. The queso was a little thick but had good flavor. The chips were crunchy but had absolutely no salt. They gave me a small mild salsa, which had absolutely no flavor. This definitely isn't the best Mexican I've had, but it wasn't bad and I will likely return since I work so close by. Hopefully I will get a chance to update with other menu items I've tried.
First visit 3 years ago was no doubt, 5 stars. On a Tuesday - $1 delicious asada and chicken tacos, with three salsas as good as Mexico itself. My visit today, another Tuesday, 3 stars is generous.Tacos now $1.50, well okay, we all hate inflation. The 3 salsa bottles provided (only while "dining in" at the picnic tables) saved a star, still being delicious, but less so than previous visits. The green needed lime to cut heavy cilantro. The red also one dimensional. The habanero was quality. The steak was 3.5 stars in taste, some nicely charred, some gristly. The chicken was 1 star, super dry to the point of crumbly with no flavor. Had to douse in salsa to make edible.Overall, 3 stars at current pricing and quality. Not sure another visit is in the cards, with so many taco trucks abounding.
