I'll start this by saying that I have worked in customer service and have waited tables for 10+ years, therefor, I am usually the very last person to ever write a negative review or lose my patience in a restaurant in general.
I'm 8 months pregnant and had been craving one of The Buttered Biscuit's cinnamon rolls all week. On Sunday, our party of 4 got up and made the drive. I joined the wait list from the car but know the drill about checking in with the hostess when you get there and knew we would still have a little wait.
Checked in online at 10:40; Arrived and checked in with the hostess at 11:00 and was told it would be about a 20 minute wait (no big deal).
We were seated at 11:40.
When our server comes over, we order our drinks and cinnamon roll as an appetizer all at the same time.
About 20 minutes later, our server comes back to take our orders for our meals. After this, we do not see her at all for an entire hour. When we finally see her, we stop her to ask her how much longer that it will be. She leaves to find out.
Mind you, we are facing the kitchen, watching tons of food (and cinnamon rolls) come and go. A table that sat down some time after us had already received some kind of appetizer at their table.
Our server comes back and says that one of our items is in the window now and it won't be much longer on our food.
We finally get our food, but still no cinnamon roll and one of the entrees is not what we ordered.
Our server finally comes back to the table and we let her know about the entree mix up and that we never got our cinnamon roll.
When she comes back to our table, she lets us know that they are now out of cinnamon rolls.
We end up telling her not to worry about the correct entree, as she was going to have to put the order in and we would be waiting even longer.
We didn't get to leave until 1:30 PM, at this point.
I was very disappointed at the customer service this past Sunday. Had we been communicated with instead of avoided and ignored throughout our entire experience, I probably wouldn't be writing this review.

Tawny the manager is beyond amazing and her staff is just a great. Love you guys!

Awhile ago I had a not so great experience and one of her staff members noticed, before she could stop me and offer to make it right, our family walked out. I later called this establishment and Tawny knew exactly what I was calling about. Her staff had notified her and they were hoping I’d call in so they could make it right. It was my anniversary & I was the only one who didn’t get served. This was a shocker because this never happens at BB(I came here almost every weekend & had a wonderful time)
Tawny and her staff sincerely felt bad & apologized, I was given our meal as complimentary as well as a gift card for later use.

The food here is like Grandmas home made from scratch cooking. The atmosphere is inviting, caring and fun! My toddler loves the coloring book menu too!

Restaurant was kind of dirty - tables left with dirty dishes and staff just kind of standing around. Food all over the floor when we came in. Food was okay.

I had the absolute best experience at Butter Biscuits thanks to our amazing server Grace! From the moment we sat down, she made us feel so welcome with her warm, friendly energy. Her customer service was top-tier — super attentive, kind, and genuinely caring. She was incredibly timely with everything, never missed a beat, and always had a smile on her face. Honestly, Grace is hands down the best server I’ve ever had. She made our breakfast feel like a treat, not just a meal. If you go to Butter Biscuits, ask for Grace — she’s a gem!

Edit…. They Buttered Biscuit corrected the situation. There’s a lot to be said about a company that will own up to their mistakes when they make them. We all make mistakes. It’s how you handle it that makes the difference.

It is always a gamble when you take your littles out to eat at a restaurant. The Buttered Biscuit in Springdale was such a fun place for my kids to experience. The staff was so kind to our girls! Just for that reason, we loved it! It is a bike ride away from our home so the entire experience was a fun one. I will say, the latte was a tad bit sweet but the mimosa was yuuuuummy!
