Big Mama's Boys (Brought to you by Big Mama’s Crockpot)

I found Big Mamas Boys on Facebook and it did not disappoint. I got the baked chicken, mashed potatoes, and yams. Everything was fantastic. The sweet tea was made perfectly. I got a banana pudding to go, but I was so excited about this place I had to leave a review before I ate it. An incredible deal for the amount of food you get. Service was amazing. The inside is cute too. I live in Illinois and I’d make the trip back to Texarkana just to eat here again.

Me and my husband were in town for a church function and decided to stop and eat some soul food. It did not disappoint at all. The customer service was great and so was the food.

Stopped in for lunch while passing through. We got the smothered chops w/rice, cabbage & cornbread and my bf hot oxtails, greens, pinto beans & cornbread. Did NOT disappoint. Great place to stop for some good ol soul food. ?

Great food. Had the blackeyed peas, yams and hamburger steak. Couldn't be any tastier. Great people. And the drink, ruby red, perfect. Had a piece of pound cake too, delicious. Well worth it.

Husband and I stopped in on our way to Chicago and it was an experience. You can tell much love and pride goes into their food. It was only 230pm and they were already out of some foods on the menu so I recommend getting there early before all the good stuff is taken (it’s all good).

I gave 4 starts because I heard good reviews and the food looks great, but employees came from the back rubbed his hand on his pants, grabbed his cell phone plugged it in and went straight to fixing plates. No gloves in sight for any of the 3 employees I saw preparing food. It wasn’t for me but I wish this business luck and success

I’ve been looking for this kind of authenticity. Excellent food, large portions (I’m keeping the leftovers for later), great taste, and very, very friendly service by the two gentlemen today. They even gave us a free slice of cake since we were first timers!
