We was passing through and saw the sign Big Mama’s Boy and decided to stop by to eat. It was the best decision we made all day, the food was on point “Soul Food”. We had the Neckbones and Turkey Necks it was season to perfection and falling off the bones and let’s talk about the Cabbage I believe it was the best cabbage I’ve ever had. The Mac and Cheese was moist and cheesy, needless to say everything was literally finger licking good and will definitely be back to eat again. Thanks again for the good hospitality and great service. Shout out to the cook and the young man at the front with the friendly smile. Until next time stay Blessed.

Everything and everyone is amazing!!! The food is soooo good that customers meet up every week like clockwork tryna get some of that flavorful seasoned to perfection food!!! I am very impressed by the blessing they have become to the many people who enjoy their food week after week!!! I pray them continued success!!! Let’s just say I won’t be back $29 for small fat filled oxtails (3)

I visited the restaurant for the first time the sign outside caught my eye it said Oxtails on it I ordered the Oxtails with cabbage and candied yams I explained to the cashier I had eaten at another local restaurant and got the Oxtails plate it was good but very pricey and because of that I never returned to that restaurant my order was ringed up and my total was $29 I said to myself they must have some good food and Big Oxtails but when I sat down to eat at home what I saw on my plate was 3 small oxtails full of fat all on them and they wasn’t flavorful at all ! The free strawberry crunch cake was a whipped cream pie with old strawberries on it this was not acceptable to me for $29 ! And I will Not be returning!
Food wasn't all that they left out cornbread after telling me it will be ready in 10min plus the plate are 20 a piece think I would have been better off going to OFF THE FIRE will not be going

10/10 do not recommend first time trying the oxtails and dirty rice is amazing.... had to wait 30 mins didnt recieve any bread spare ribs tasted like smoke from the grill the brocolli casserole was terrible the kool aid is outrageous straight diabetes.

We stopped in Texarkana for a bite to eat and it was interesting. I had the Chicken and Dressing with Green Beans and Potatoes, my husband had the Hamburger Steak, Mashed Potatoes,Yams and Cornbread. Good place, but they need to work on bringing down the seasoning (salt)on certain dishes and upping it on others. I would give them another visit.
