Lovely dining experience. Great steaks, salad and sides. Our waitperson Shella, was awesome. The prime rib was on point! The only problem I see is that the restaurant apparently allows smoking somewhere, perhaps in the bar. That needs to be discontinued as we smelled cigarette smoke during dinner and smelled of cigarettes the rest of the evening.

Food was great. I brought steak home because it was way under cooked. For the price you would think you'd get your steak the way you want it. Guess not.
Old school must try Steak House. Love love love. Literally on the State line. Great staff, spoke with everyone like I was a regular. You know they say shop local, we'll eat local too.
***Disappointed*** I'm a loyal customer to Cattlemens throughout the year. I bring business customers here quite frequently, due to the great service and food. I always call and get reservations. I called for reservations (4 People) on New Year's Eve and although there's availability, they don't issue reservations on New Year's Eve. I'm disappointed. We will be dining somewhere else tonight. Very unfortunate.
Great food, very good service, beats any other steak restaurant in town. There's a reason they have been in business for such a long time.

The prime rib was overcooked as I ordered medium well. The meat was so tough that it was difficult to cut. The only time I have seen a prime cut of meat this tough is when someone used a microwave to heat up the meat. Finally gave up and left a large piece of the meat.
The best ribeye steak I've had in a long time, particularly at a restaurant. I got the king cut because I wanted a thicker cut for better cooking. I didn't have a scrap of meat left when I got done. Tender as tender can be without any tenderizers or seasoning. A dash of salt to bring out the flavor was all it needed. The peripheral food was very good as well. The oysters on the half shell were very fresh and tasty. The Dragon Fries were very good as well. I would have easily given a five star rating for the quality of the food and atmosphere. I only gave it four stars because it seemed that the waitress had some issue with me. Nothing I could put my finger on but I got the feeling she was snubbing me a bit. I asked my wife about it after we left and she saw it too. I believe I was courteous and did nothing I could think of to put her off but it did add a slight shadow on the evening. Otherwise I would highly recommend dinner here. Just be prepared though, it's not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
The steak was cold and not very tasty. The service wasnt very good. I would not recommend this place.

Tried ordering the Tuesday prime rib special to go. Was told that you had to dine in to get it at the reduced price. Orders to go are full price. Styrofoam containers must be VERY expensive now. Oh well. Plenty of other restaurants out there.

Steaks were cooked correctly. Oysters Beniville excellent. Atmosphere was very relaxing and low keyed. Brittany was great server. If you go ask for her your dining experience will go smoothly
