A great staple of downtown Texarkana! Rock and roll casual vibe, lots of decor and music, with inside and outside patio seating. Staff was super friendly and recommended *literally everything*. Got the Texas (BBQ) burger which was hot and had a GREAT bun!! Side of sweet potato fries (and tried their reg fries which were awesome). Very extensive menu and fun place.

Can't even rate it all because we never ate. Visited there a week ago, sat outside on a pleasant evening. After 15 minutes, we had to go in and ask for menus. She brought the menus but when we asked for a drink menu we were told "you can order anything you want from the bar." We again asked for a drink menu saying we'd like to see what they had for specialty drinks. She said "I'll be back to get your orders in just a few minutes." She never returned to our table, despite coming out to help 2 other people out the door. Even stood next to our table and did nothing! Another 35 minutes went by with nothing from any servers. No menus, no orders, nothing! After sitting with not even an offer of water for 50 minutes, we left. Sadly disappointed. It wasn't even a full house! Only 2 tables were occupied with 2 or 3 people, and maybe 3 people at the bar. No excuse for blatantly ignoring customers. Don't matter how good the food may or may not be, when you can't even get someone to take your order!

Never been so disappointed in Hopkins until tonight. Sat in the patio section to enjoy a mildly cool evening, sent the husband in to grab menus after 15 minutes. Waited for drink menus and then were left forgotten for another 35 minutes with wait staff looking at us from behind the bar making eye contact but nothing. Never got any type of service. Sad because we’ve been faithful customers for a long time… don’t know if we will be back.
We had the best service and appetizers at this restaurant. I highly recommend the stuffed jalepenos. They were delicious. The avocado cream sauce on top was delicious. Christian was our server and he was the friendliest, greatest down to earth guy ever. We enjoyed it. Check them out.

The kitchen staff sure knows what they're doing because I have NEVER had a bad meal here. Everything tastes so fresh and is very affordable. Shoutout to the team at Hopkins because you guys rock!!!
