Been coming here off and on 20 plus years. The current owner, Matt, is a good dude. Plenty of blue felt topped pool tables, nice dance floor, nice screens, decent security. Eclectic crowd. Kyle the Bartender is cool. Lot of regulars. Everyone is pretty cool, gets along well from the staff to the patrons. Got a pick up game of 9 ball tonight out with my buddy before I left. He found a "friend", burned out a lil earlier. Plenty of horses to choose from from all age groups....
I walked into a friendly welcome right off from the front desk .the Bartender Hanna was amazing. Very attentive , Band sounded awesome.Security very watchful when you come in and go out. So OUT of all the night clubs in texarkana I would say Whiskey River.Go on out feel comfortable get waited on quickly. Have a good nighte. Thank you Bonnie kirtley
