Excellent meal and service. The chicken was delicious and well seasoned, hot sauce on the side had a nice kick. The salad and rice were great as well.

Very friendly but our food was lacking it flavor. Prices were considerably higher even though it's a very small casual establishment. The portions were plentiful so maybe that's how it was priced.

I’ve been eating the chicken Lomo Saltado for years. It is the perfect flavor and one of my favorite foods to eat. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. Plus the family that runs El Tumi are so kind and they cook with love!

I have a Peruvian friend who introduced us to this restaurant. We have been here twice this year, and the food is great as well as the joyful atmosphere. It's nice to be able to experience cuisine from other countries so close to home.

Wonderful little family restaurant with simple but authentic character and dishes. I had rice, chicken, a d vegetables because I was gluten free and fried plantains. The serving sizes were generous and the plantains had perfect texture and flavor.

First time trying Peruvian food, and It was absolutely delicious. The service was wonderful, you could really feel the family atmosphere from all the people cooking and working there. Truthfully a joy. If you're feeling adventurous and want to try some different kinds of food, I would definitely give this place a try.

The owner is the chef. His wife does take-out and manages restaurant. Their daughter is the waitress. The food was good, but the family are darling folks. Bous: just down the road from home. We will return & tell our friends!

Yes! Yes! Yes! This place is must try! Stopped because of the great reviews, and it did not disappoint! Honestly I wasn't sure what to get so I got the thing that sounded familiar, which was the Spaghetti, and oh my my! That Spaghetti with beef was chef kiss!! For sure a place to try if you want something different.

My wife and I were headed home from Hot Springs, AR and swung by Van Buren specifically to try El Tumi De Oro Peruvian Restaurant. A small authentic family operated restaurant that I would call Peruvian home cookin'. We dropped by to have Sunday dinner with the family. I think the whole family works there and like any family I believe dad was the grill master for the rotisserie chicken, which was my order. I got a half chicken with fries and the slaw. The slaw was a simple mixture of cabbage with what tasted like mayonnaise for dressing. The chicken was very moist, tender and slightly smoky from the charcoal. Delicious. My wife had the classic Lomo Saltado, a meal just about everyone enjoys. Tender beef, broth, onion and tomatoes on a fresh pile of fried potatoes. While paying the bill, I asked the young lady about the absence of fried rice on their menu, a typical Chinese influenced Peruvian meal. She said that the Peruvian Sauteed Spaghetti and even the Lomo Saltado were both Chinese influenced. I had to follow with another question regarding authentic Peruvian foods. The answer was "No." So, it is unlikely guinea pig will be a menu option anytime soon. Dang it! I wouldn't hesitate to eat one of the little rascals. Not a fancy place, but it is the real deal.

Great flavors! We arrived right at opening and our server told us everything except the rotisserie chicken was available. My husband and I ordered Bistec a lo probre, sautéed vegetables and finished with bread pudding. Very relaxed atmosphere with great music it was almost like and indoor patio. We will definitely be back to try the rotisserie chicken.
