I used to live about 30 miles from Van Buren and I found this bakery. I immediately fell in love with it. It has that old time bakery feel. Every time i am anywhere close we always have to stop andnget a small cake and drop cookies. Their donuts are super good and unique too. Its my favorite bakery. It is 2 hours from my home now and sometimes even ask to drive to it for my birthday cake. There is just something special about it. The prices are really fair too.

They go above and beyond with every order I have provided to them! Last year, I called 1 day in advance to have a large birthday cake make, with a photo on the top. I forgot to do it…lol They had no problem getting it finished and it looked excellent.
This year is nothing short of spectacular as well. I highly recommend them!

I appreciate their can do attitude. I called in a last minute cake order that I needed same day with some custom decorations. Without any hesitation, they happily accepted the order and it exactly what we wanted. They were a lifesaver! And of course their cakes always taste AMAZING.

This is how a bakery should be. The donuts, cookies, MAPLE BARS, the plain glazed, even cold, if they make it that long, they serve an unrivaled product, with exemplary service. Always kind, polite, and patient (for me, that's huge, I'm indecisive), If you're not a morning person, they'll change your entire circadian rhythm. God bless you guys!

This was, without a doubt, the worst cake I’ve ever had.The “beautiful roses” on top were not edible — they were so hard I nearly broke a tooth. I actually rolled one on the counter, and it sounded like dice hitting the surface.
The cake itself tasted old and oddly salty. I ordered half chocolate and half white, but it only had a thin strip of chocolate in the center — maybe three inches total. Nothing about this cake was as described or worth what I paid.
My family have been customers for 45+ years.

I was recently passing through to visit a friend on my way to another destination when I stumbled across Paul’s Bakery thinking it would be “just another bakery”. It wasn’t. The pastries and cookies here are heaven sent! Don’t even get me started on the iced sugar cookie that is coated with sprinkles! Not to mention, the customer service was fantastic and the bakery itself was nice and clean! I would go out of my way to travel through here again JUST to make another stop!
