Great place to stop by. Takes you back to the 1800s. The food was good. The service was excellent. The entire town is full of such great history. It's definitely worth a stop.

Was visiting Washington to see the local historical sites. Stopped in for lunch and Thursday the special of the day was chicken and dumplings. They were really tasty along with the home made yeast rolls. Service was friendly and very prompt. We did not stay for desert, but check out the options. Be sure to check the special of the day before ordering. Will go again for sure.

We traveled here to visit the washing state park. After eating here for lunch, we would make the drive again just for the food! It was good home cooking. I had the special - pork chop sandwich and it was so good.

All around great experience. The food is wonderful and our waitress Paige, was OUTSTANDING. She made sure we had everything we needed when we needed it. I will request her every time we go back!

I'm in the area for work and my customer suggested this place for lunch. I'm from Pennsylvania and didn't know much about the park or what to expect. A basket of rolls cane out first and they are hands down the best rolls I've ever had. I ordered the Swiss and turkey sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. If you're ever in the area I'd highly recommend this place!!!

Historically, this place has always been my favorite restaurant to wat in the area. On my last visit, I was a little bummed because they had a limited menu that was very basic. I inquired when they will start their regular menu again and the server said that day was the only day.Staff is always great. The rolls were just as I remembered; the best!

Cute restaurant with super friendly staff. Waitress was always filling glasses. Food was hot and delicious. Homemade rolls and real cornbread on the table. Hand dipped chicken strips and homemade gravy. Real hamburgers with fresh toppings. Eat here!!

My wife and I ate there Sunday afternoon after church. They have a menu but we ate the buffet. I had the stuffed chicken breast, meatloaf, asparagus and Lima beans, mashed potatoes with gravy. My wife had a pork chop , meatloaf and the same veggies. Everything was very good, and seasoned well!! This was one of the best meals we have had eating out in a long time! The cooks can really COOK!

We were traveling through old Washington and stopped for lunch. Ended up touring the park and had a great time. It was cold outside. But we got a warm welcome inside. Our hostess and waitress was very personable and helpful and provided just the right amount of attention. The mushroom appetizer was great. The fried green tomatoes were very good. I was surprised they had them this time of the year and that they were good. We split a bison burger. Neither one of us cared for it. But that was the bison, not the preparation. It was on a nice bun. The toppings were nicely done on the side and very fresh. We ordered fried okra as our side. They were also very good. Everything you'd want hot was freshly cooked and hot. The things you'd want cold were fresh and cold. We had a great experience at Old Washington and Williams Tavern.

My daughter and I came her for a little getaway and made reservations for a dinner and show two month's in advance. First we had to wait outside for 20 minutes, at 98°, just to get in and pay. Then once we were in the door they didn't have enough room for everyone so they were sitting random people together. The open table for us was with two men we didn't even know. If I would have wanted to sit with someone else, I would have brought them with us. Needless to say I got a refund and left. Also, their air was out and we were ringing in sweat! It was a horrible experience after a 4 hour drive to get here.

A one-star rating does not to this restaurant in justice picked up ketchup and they was mold on the bottle there was a bug in my drink the server was not polite and the food took a while to get here and very dirty and overpriced. Me and my family of 10 are usually pretty easy going and not picking when it comes to restaurants But we did not eat any of our food.
