Food was good the waitress was great but when I got to the register entered in my rewards number the cashier starts to tell me that the coupon that I just got by email for $5.00 off is no good it's not showing up then she said it had expired then said it had already been used she was having a bad day apparently then called the manager he then stated that the system was acting up since earlier and went ahead and acknowledged my coupon customer service is always important

This is absolutely the worst run Cracker Barrel I've ever visited.
I worked Christmas day and stopped by this morning to pick up a pie, as we have family visiting today to celebrate a late Christmas. Initially I was told they only had pecan pies, then they had cinnamon roll, then it was an apple, then wait, they're out of all the pies. Then, a very rude woman named Patty walked through and said all their pies were expired and they couldn't sell those.
MEANWHILE, two expired pecan pies were brought to the counter and another customer bought these expired pies!! I brought this to the attention of Dwayne the manager, and he reiterated that they can't sell expired pies. I told him I felt that it was unfair to sell these pies ( that were literally expired by 8 hours) to someone else, but then not allow me to purchase one. But he refused. So I wasted 20 minutes of my morning going back & forth about pies..
I was also told by another employee that they donate these expired pies to a local charity, so obviously they deem them edible.

Our server, Cadence, was terrific. The rest of our experience was not. The restaurant was not busy yet we waited 5 minutes to be seated as employees visited and discussed their personal business not two feet away. One of them appeared to be management. Very unprofessional. The food was not what I remember from the last visit to cracker barrel. The veggies tasted like someone opened a can and microwaved them. The country green beans and sweet carrots were once my favorite. The meatloaf was mediocre. I was greeted at the register by a very cheerful and bubbly person. So, overall, very good server and checker.

This location is stopped for dinner on my trip totally turned me against this restaurant. Cracker barrel used to be so amazing, the food was delicious. The servers were trained and rewarded for success. I had terrible serve and the turkey and dressing dinner that night was so awful. Makes me never want to go to another one it was that awful

Cracker Barrel is not what it used to be! We waited for a very long time to get food in a nearly empty restaurant. Food was served lukewarm. Items were not cooked as advertised either. Very disappointing.
