Nice clean restaurant. Server was very young and very friendly. She must have been well trained. She did a great job. The catfish was very good. The fries and hushpuppies were less than fresh. The coleslaw was average. This would be a good restaurant with better attention to detail. The service was good, the catfish was good (I'm from Mississippi we have the world's best catfish). If the hushpuppies and fries were given the same attention this would have been a 5 star...
We go to The Hook to eat all the time they are really good but do wish that they would add some cheese dip to the menu and add some fry sauce to the table and even add cajun fries to the menu then it would be Awesome
