The lunch porkchops were amazing with that white gravy! That and the service keeps me coming back from an hour away!
Brandon...THE waiter. 5 stars DON'T EVEN COME CLOSE...💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
We found this place completely by accident. We'll go back every time we're in the area. I had the Cajun Omlet. I'm still craving another. Who would've thought a better brunch place was here. Next time I get the Bloody Mary on the menu. I had to drive 4 hours home afterward or I would've this time.
Wilson's Cafe was such an incredible find! The name does not do it justice at all, but that's what makes it such a nice surprisee! First, of all the interior and exterior of the building are so upscale yet inviting. Light and bright with lots of windows. There was a live flower on every table. I wouldn't have changed one detail of the decor.
The food was delicious. We started with the Memphis Barbecue Deviled Eggs. Apparently, the deviled egg appetizer changes each day. I can't imagine a better choice. I had the shrimp grits for my entree, and it was definitely the best I have ever had. There were four very large perfectly fried shrimp over creamy, spicey grits. My husband went with the salmon, which he said was very good. The sides were Delta rice and broccoli. He liked them both, but went on and on about how great the rice was.
If you are a wine drinker, the wine selection is much better than almost anywhere else in Arkansas, much less Northeast Arkansas. The staff is knowledgeable on wine and are very willing to help with the selection. Both staff members that we encountered were friendly, but professional.
My only complaint about Wilson's Cafe, is that is too far from home for me to visit often. It was definitely worth the drive from Crowley State Park to have a nice Anniversary Dinner. If we are ever this way again, we will definitely swing by Wilson, AR. I would love to try the weekend brunch!
My wife, a good friend and I had dinner at the Wilson Cafe on a busy Friday night. The food was outstanding. The service was even better. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the daily specials from the bar. We finished our meal off with desert from the desert trolly - complete with train whistle. I highly recommend the Wilson Cafe if you are in the area.
My first experience at this quaint little café was amazing.
The food was great and our server Brendon was very helpful and informative. We will definitely be back!!
Thank you for your amazing hospitality last night. Specials were great and the apple pie I took home and ate midnight was too. 😚 The staff at Wilson Cafe never disappoints. I mean, nothing there does!
We stopped here on our way from Dyess to Jonesboro for some light lunch. We ended up three appetizers for the three of us and just waters. Wings, loaded fries and fried green tomatoes. Everything tasted decent - loaded fries had a bit too much ranch, making the fries soggy. Wings were decent and the FGT were decent. Prices seemed a bit high imo

Fun evening at the Cafe. Food was good but not great. Steaks cooked as ordered. Expected a braised lamb shank with Mediterranean seasoning when ordering the shank. Sauce seemed a bit heavy. Salmon was good but not great. Lovely atmosphere.

Loved this place! Food was delicious, service was warm and attentive, atmosphere was great. I plan to rendezvous with friends here and stay a bit to check out the beautifully restored area.
What a fantastic gem this place is. Started with great drinks and smoked burratta (possibly the highlight of the night). The braised short rib was tender and so full of flavor. Burger sliders were stacked with great ingredients. House made chips with bacon ranch were a great side and while we were too full for dessert on site we took home a bread pudding and delicious buttermilk pie. I can't believe we took so long to make the hour drive, but it was totally worth it. WE WILL BE BACK!
This was a fun place, with such a friendly, welcoming staff.
