Hillybilly Slim's BBQ is a family-run business that takes pride in serving customers. The restaurant offers delicious BBQ with rich flavor in every bite, accompanied by baked beans with just the right amount of sweetness and firm green beans. The building looks better than ever after the fire and remodel, and the food is well worth the drive. Smoked Meatloaf is one of the tastiest around, and the Fried Okra side is perfect (not greasy). The Chopped Brisket Sandwich with Tater Salad is a favorite, and the Chocolate Pie & Pecan Pie are great desserts. The dining room is plenty big, and the servers are nice. Located in the rural Ozark Mountains, the area offers hiking, camping, and waterfalls nearby. Doc, the owner, is a really cool guy, and the atmosphere is welcoming, with parking available under shade trees.
