Blacksheep has BBQ mastered! Although the smash burger is my fave, there's no platter, sandwich or side that disappoints. While you're eating you get a flashback of yesteryear with all the antiques splattered neatly on the walls - definitely a conversation piece that brings a smile to your face. Talk about clean....the lady's restroom is always on point, and the restaurant itself is also very clean. I love this quaint bundle of joy nestled in quaint Yellville AR and promise to keep coming back! Woooo PIG SOOIE!! 🐖 😀

Love having lunch and dinner here when we visit family from out of town! Some things with the taste of the food have definitely changed over the past few times, but overall everything we ordered is still really good. The friendly staff this visit, really made for a memorable lunch date!

What. The. Heck. How have I never been here before? No complaints, only amazed. The whole family spent the first few minutes just tasting everything in shock--mind you, I grew up around such cuisine. I don't know that I've had anything that comes close. Order something and sit down, you can't go wrong!

Taste: Top-tier, oh my gosh.
Service: Expedient, attentive, courteous, superb.
Value: YES.
Atmosphere: I'm not generally big on restaurants, but I could absolutely hang out here, and I'm a little jealous/motivated by the decor. Not a fan of the tube lights in the corners, but I have sensitivities to certain lights that most don't. Feels actually old-timey, not as manufactured as many places. They definitely lean into the nature of their establishment, and they do it well.

We were lucky enough to stop on a Tuesday when the special was a $20 ribeye steak dinner. I don't know who's on the grill but they served an absolutely perfect medium rare steak that was seasoned just right. I highly recommend this place and if you can, save room for the banana pudding - it's made locally with fresh ingredients from the local Harps - that's where me met the baker. If you're traveling through Yellville, be sure to stop in - unfortunately, they don't serve breakfast.

I wouldn't consider this good barbecue. The ribs were mushy like they had been boiled and had very little smoke taste. The brisket I would say was pretty good. The barbecue beans were leftover you could tell. They had been microwaved. The coleslaw was just average. The waitresses were talking about being bartenders before. They were talking about getting drunk and getting in fights. The atmosphere I thought was really cool. I would not recommend this place to eat.

The food is delicious. We have tried at least 5 burgers and hotdogs within our family, and not one was disappointing. The hostesses and servers were polite and made us laugh. The bathrooms are always stocked and clean. Stopping at Blacksheep is now one of our yearly traditions.

Great food and Wonderful service! My husband loves their Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich, I love their Mushroom Swiss Burger and Potato salad. I think they are the best place to eat in town. I love Black Sheep.

We had a very good experience with this quaint little restaurant. Ordered the burger and a pulled pork grilled cheese and both we delicious. Cute and rustic decor made the ambiance on theme. The only downside to indoor dining was it was very smoky inside. We chose to sit on front porch and enjoyed it. Hope to return here on our next trip to the Buffalo River.
