The low review is for charging me 5.99$ for 1 egg. Shame on you. I won't ever eat anything here again. Why rip off the community? $27 for 2 eggs and 2 biscuits with gravy, I didn't even order drinks. I was told eggs are $6 ea nowadays. That's robbery. I'll go to a place that won't try to rip me off over an egg.

One of my Favorite places to eat. Discovered about 20 years ago. Homemade pies are always good, as is the coffee and iced tea. Special of the Day today was a Roast Beef, green Chiles, and cheese Haystack on toasted marble rye. Homemade beef barley vegetable soup was excellent 😋. Servers are always friendly, attentive, and welcoming. A MUST Visit in Alpine !!!

We rode our motorcycles from Clifton to Alpine to have lunch. The Bear Wallow Cafe was the only place open. The service was fast and friendly. It was a little cold so the hot tea warmed my bones! We got the hot roast beef sandwich and chili cheese fries. Food was delicious and more than we could eat. There were quite a few folks who came in for pie and coffee....it must be really good pie. Wish we hadn't too full to try it. we we ever visit Arizona again, we will definitely plan a trip back to the Bear Wallow Cafe!

We'll come here every time we are in Alpine. Fresh food is better then the reheated or frozen food some other places sell.... Enjoy!
