Great people and atmosphere! Owners are very nice. The service is amazing as well. We were traveling and came into town late. The Foxfire was open but was going to close early. Unknowingly, I placed an online order and headed to pick up. Being that customer who orders at closing or seems to not care if it's closing time is not who we are. So we felt very sorry. But they did not blink an eye and were more than happy to get our order out! Even poured a pint of some great beer while I waited! Thank you for making a great trip for us!

Good waitstaff and nice mountain decor. But we all agreed it tasted like canned pasta sauce and that some of the meals where cooked, frozen and not reheated enough. I know times are tough in small rural towns. But be half a professional and cut down on menu item to keep the quality up to at least truck stop standards...

The pizza is a FROZEN cheese pizza with your choice of toppings thrown on top. A pizza with 3 toppings is $30! The mushrooms ravioli is also frozen with the most horrendous Alfredo sauce ever made. Served still cold! Yuck!!

Best place in Alpine for dining. Owners are very special folks and very accommodating.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access is difficult. I use a walker and quite difficult to get close to entrance. My wife went into restaurant and talked with the owner
and he told her to park behind his vehicle. Adjacent to entrance and no issue for access. We went back the next day for dinner, because we were treated so nicely and food was good. Highly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant is owned by two old hateful, rude, bats, that need to retire. The food used to be great, but not anymore! Making a reservation is a joke. When we arrived they tried to seat us outside and it was starting to rain. We told the old bat our reservation was for inside seating. She laughed in my wife’s face and said, that’s not going to happen. We left and will never go back again. Feel sorry for the staff. Absolutely do not recommend!!

Service was just what you'd expect. Kind folks and timely attention to tables. The atmosphere was kitschy, but fine for that neck of the woods.
Of the four separate dishes ordered, only one was executed well (spicy chicken sandwich). The burger patties, while large, were overworked and under seasoned. The brisket was sliced too thin and was probably pre cooked.

Not a lot of options in this neck of the woods, but they could do a lot better.

No kids menu available. The menu mentions choice of sides, but you'll have to ask your server what sides are available.

Great pizza! I would love to give 5 stars. We requested to be seated near the open window. Then right before the food came, an older gentleman came to our table “who seated you here!” His tone suggested we were not supposed to be seated there. It seems one of the regulars brought a large group in and he wanted to acomodate them. We offered to move, he declined our offer. But then proceeded to talk to many of the wait staff about it. It’s a small place, sounds carry. If you don’t want twosome’s at your six top, then don’t just put six tops in the best place in the restaurant. Great pizza and waitresses.

While they do not serve fox at this fine enterprise, the food is nonetheless "fire" in the parlance of our times. The ambience at foxfire is unrivaled in eastern Arizona. It has a rustic, yet modern feel which simultaneously sooths and excites the weary traveler. You enter this cabin-like citadel of gastronomy with the distinct impression that you are about to pay a lot of money. You will.

The menu ranges a bit, but the brisket immediately stood out to me as the most delicious option, and it was promptly brought out served with French fries and garlic toast. The brisket was delicious, but my plate was mostly filled with fries and toast, with a meager quantity of meat on top. I was bummed to say the least, outraged to say the most, at the poor quality of the fries and toast. For a meal that cost more than 20 dollars I expect homemade fries and high quality toast. However, the fries seemed like they might have come from a bag and the toast was made with cheap bread. Perhaps I am asking too much of a restaurant located in such a pastoral setting, but I couldn't help feeling like I didn't get 20 dollars worth of food.

The owner and the staff are very friendly, and I have absolutely no complaints about the service here. I entered this place after about a week in the wilderness, and I was treated with kindness in spite of my haggard appearance.

If I have loads of money burning holes in my pockets I might stop here again, as the food itself was of a higher quality than that of the other restaurants in Alpine (a fairly low bar). All things considered this isn't a bad restaurant, but it is overpriced.

The food and the service was awesome. The BBQ Fresh Salmon was so delicious that I ordered it on both Fri and Sat.
