Fun dinner place! We live so close and had never tried it until this year. They have tons of talented performers, most of whom do double duty by also helping serve food or seat people. The place is huge, and every seat was full when we attended, but they do an excellent job of serving food quickly. The food was also great. It's quite a long show, so be prepared for that. But definitely a fun night for a group dinner or to bring your out of town guests.
Gotta tell you....this is an evening you'll never forget. From the great meal before the show and the talent that these people exume is incredible! And on intermission, don't forget the root beer float with a special root beer from Chicago!! For 60.00 per person, you'll get the incredible meal and a show that has talent from performers that performed with famous groups and local talent that equals that!!
I attended a Saturday matinee with a group of nine. Everyone enjoyed the dinner, salad, roll, beef tips, mashed potatoes, carrots and especially the chocolate cake, always served first. Cocktails are available. Each musician is so talented and has played with the top performers of their time. I've attended Barleen's many times over 25+ years and I've never been disappointed. A man in our group said he really got his money's worth with the food, entertainment...
