Chicago's Number One Gyros

I had been craving for a solid gyro in the East Valley and finally found one at Chicago #1 Gyros while I was in the area for lunch. The place was quiet but super friendly and they happily grilled the meat after slicing with barely any wait. The gyro tasted just how it should with a soft fresh pita a generous portion of meat and great flavor so I will definitely be back to try more.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Chicago's Number One Gyros located at 850 S Ironwood Dr, Apache Junction, AZ. While in the area to show a vacant space for a potential massage business, I felt a bit hungry and was delighted to discover this charming Chicago Hot Dog restaurant nearby.

I ordered a delicious gyro 🥙 with fries 🍟 and kindly requested the lady at the counter to prepare my fries without salt. She was incredibly friendly and happily obliged, frying a fresh batch just for me. I truly appreciated her willingness to accommodate my request.

During my visit, there was an unexpected moment when another customer choked on their food. Thankfully, another patron quickly called for help, and the fire department arrived in just five minutes. I am so grateful for the swift response of the firefighters, who handled the situation with professionalism and care.

Overall, my experience at Chicago's Number One Gyros was filled with warmth and kindness, and I left feeling thankful for the delicious food and the attentive service.

When you’re looking for legit Chicago dog, this is the place! Nice owners that take great pride in their food and establishment, very clean!
The fries were perfectly cooked I’m talking a little crisp but soft inside and just the right amount of salt! I can see why they sell out of dogs because these are chef’s kiss!
You can’t get a decent fast food meal for this price! (Less than $8 for dog, fries, pickle spear)

My husband found this hidden gem in when we moved to AJ about 6yrs ago?& we eat here or takeout as often as possible.Support your locally owned businesses!! Just like this Family owned and operated Greek restaurant you won’t be disappointed. A small place but quaint and clean . It’s also affordable and most importantly phenomenally delicious!! I Love the freshness of the food they have the most outstandingly fresh meats, veggies, feta, pitta bread and hummus(I’m bummed when they run out of hummus.(That’s how you know it’s freshly made). My mouth’s watering now! I need my Greek fix! We just had Gyros 2 days ago and am craving it again. Give them a try. 😋✌🏼

This is a hidden gem. VERY authentic Chicago fare...plus Greek food, as well as Middle Eastern food. Everything is authentic and DELICIOUS. The service is outstanding...friendly, efficient!
They even play Greek music...

Fry's are BOMB just the right amount of crisp on the outside and soft in the middle with no oilyness! The gyro meat is also soft and top notch!
