First time trying this place and we loved it. Great atmosphere and the view of the Superstitions is incredible. We had the brisket and pork sandwiches which were both really good. For our sides we had the mac & cheese and elote. They were both good but we liked the elote better. My only criticism is I wish they had Coke products instead of Pepsi (they did have bottled Coke products just not fountain drinks). I can’t wait to eat here again

The food was amazing..we ordered 2 appetizers..3 briskets and a couple sides and drinks..r bill was 200..great deal for all that we got. But to spend that much on dinner and eat with plastic silverware kinda tacky...Service was great but it kinda seems chaotic for the customer and servers ..order at counter? Just grab a random seat wait for service? How do u reorder drinks after u paid at counter and seat yourself? ..who's your server? Just kinda confusing..

We placed a carry out order for a pulled pork sandwich and brisket sandwich. Both sandwiches were made incorrectly/missing ingredients that were described on the menu. The pulled pork didn’t have the Cole slaw. The brisket didn’t have any toppings at all. We tried calling to speak to someone but could never get anyone to answer. We left a message on their recording and no one ever called us back. That said, the place looks like it has a nice patio so the atmosphere is good even though the food/service is not.

Had to pass on multiple tables because they were dirty (food and bbq sauce) from prior guests. Observed staff clearing the tables but not wiping them down. My wife and I shared the sampler to get a taste of all 5 meats. Comes on a tray but no small plates or other means of sharing. Recommend having at least some wax paper sheets available for guests. Sausage was good, ribs were over done to the point of nearly crispy - should have never came out of the kitchen. Turkey, brisket, and pulled pork were all average.

Atmosphere inside is very loud with lots of people talking but at least you don’t have to compete with the sound system.

We had heard mixed reviews from friends and that’s what we experienced.

⭐ Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
🍖 What We Ordered:
Texas Twinkies appetizer, JW’s Meat Sampler, Cheesy Potatoes, Baked Beans, Honey Butter Cornbread
💬 My Experience:
Last night we visited Dutchman’s County BBQ, and the aroma walking up to the place alone could draw you in from miles away. We sat inside, but the outdoor seating area looked incredible with fire pits, patio lighting, and live music. Next time I’m definitely sitting out there.
This is a counter order setup where you place your order, grab a table with a number, and they bring the food to you. If you are not ordering from the full bar, you can fill your own fountain drink.
My brother-in-law ordered the Texas Twinkies as an appetizer. These are green chiles stuffed with cream cheese and brisket, wrapped in bacon, glazed, and smoked. They were absolutely incredible. Honestly, those alone could have been my meal.
My son and I shared JW’s Meat Sampler, which came with a quarter pound each of all five smoked meats: brisket, pulled pork, turkey breast, St. Louis ribs, and hatch chili jack sausage. It also came with delicious honey butter cornbread. We added cheesy potatoes and baked beans for sides, which were both excellent.
Of all the BBQ joints I’ve visited, this is hands down the best I’ve been to. The food was top notch, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff was amazing.
🏆 Highlight: Incredible smoked meats and the Texas Twinkies are a must try.
📍 Would I Return? Absolutely. I will be visiting this place every time I’m in Apache Junction.
💡 Tip: Do not be fooled by the small parking lot out front. Drive through the dirt drive to the back and there is plenty of parking.

What a great restaurant, it's like 2 restaurants in one. An outdoor open area with a dance floor, fire pits, stage for band excellent views of the superstition mountains, and of course a bar that divides it from the indoor restaurant.
Inside is an open table area where you sit yourself. You walk up to the counter to place your order and they bring your food to your table. And the food, large portions, great BBQ ribs, I also had the stuffed potato with pulled pork, Delicious!
I'm going back again to try another item on the menu. 😋

It's a lot over priced it would be nice if they would have used a little spice my brisket was ok no flavor hardly the pork belly pops were overdone the jalapeno peppers had no fire the chilli needed a lot of spice the cornbread was undercooked the banana pudding was ok in all not something I would go out of My way for there's a lot better down the road
