My Review is Strictly About the Red Sauce
Where do I begin. I wake up and go to sleep thinking about this red sauce. I am always distracted, and it is starting to cause issues at work.
I would steal from my family to get this red sauce. I would even give my car away and take public transportation for it.
I really hope whoever makes this salsa daily is not deported.
Got the steak breakfast burrito with potatoes. Fantastic! Huge burrito and the red sauce was spicy
Food was delicious, but felt it was a tad overpriced. Would probably eat here again next time I'm in the area.
This is the Cali burrito?
THEY ARE SKIMPY WITH THE SAUCE
Overpriced. Food only edible, really. Beat up rundown place, not very clean, unpleasant odor. Ordered a Breakfast Burrito with Chorizo and Egg, Potatoes, and Cheese. Couldn't taste the Chorizo, the eggs and potatoes were unseasoned, bland, and the whole thing was wrapped in a stale tortilla. Charged me $13 and I was completely unsatisfied... Won't ever go there again.
As always...pleasant people...great food.
I came from California and was looking for a good spot close to what I grew up on and then I find this spot. Pretty damn close. And I'm picky with my food. Really good. Always tastes fresh. Good service very friendly and quick I recommend them highly!!!!!

For a fast food place, this truly is hands down the BEST Mexican food I have found! I forgot about them for a while when I used to go to the 1 in Tempe, but this location might be small inside and very dated, but it truly does give you that authentic Mexican atmosphere. There’s a plaque above the check out area that talks about someone and they don’t have a lot on the walls, but the smells of Mexican food and just how it is when you walk in, I love this place and will never eat at a Filib’s out here, as long as you get there by 9:30pm. Google says they close at 10, but the hours posted are 9:30, they will take over the phone orders, just be there by 9:45pm though.
Every single thing I get from this place, never had a single issue and it ALWAYS tastes so amazing! The cook here really knows his stuff! The younger gal who used to work there in the evening was the friendliest, the newer gals are very friendly still. With I could give more stars, but this place is just truly epic!

The food tasted good but how the chicken was chopped would leave me to believe they use low quality meat. The location in Apache junction is in a run down building but that’s aj. It’s all a little run down.
