My wife and I have been on a mission to discover the East Valley’s best street tacos. Every Wednesday after my wife’s shift at the Arizona Gilbert Temple we pick a different place that offers street tacos. I chose Mad Taco based on having the highest star rating at 4.8 stars. We drove out to Apache Junction to the address shown. We pulled into the parking lot and looked for a sign on one of the buildings. Not seeing one we noticed a food trailer in the parking lot which had signs for Mad Taco parking by the trailer. My wife and I are pretty adventurous and decided to check it out. The owner was there and with a big smile welcomed us. We placed our order and sat down. The food came pretty quick and so did many other customers who phoned in their orders. The food was amazing. I’m disappointed that I didn’t order one of the Quesatacos though. It’s one of the other reasons I chose them. I had the Al pastor taco plate and my wife got the birria and chicken taco. Plenty of food with rice and beans. Great experience and ever greater food. We will definitely be back. We went later in the evening when the sun had just gone down and the temperature didn’t really effect us. You do have to time it though. He sells out of food if you go too late. Enjoy

¡Muy Delicioso! Quesatacos and Pollo Asado quesadilla were perfect. Really good meats, great flavors, not too spicy, but definitely not bland. Everything was cooked perfectly and exactly as we ordered it. The rice has a great flavor, much better than typical taco shop rice. The red sauce is very tasty. We also tried a churro- just the right amount of crunchy crust and soft middle. The food is fantastic, but the family running this business is what really makes this place stand out. Everyone was friendly and helpful (our first visit). Lalo (the owner, I believe) introduced himself and his family, offered us seats, chatted with us, told us about Taco Tuesday's special prices, and thanked us for our business. Small-town hospitality and great food, it doesn't get any better than this! **This is a food truck. Very clean. There is plenty of shaded outdoor seating with nice views of the Superstition Mountains **

If you’re looking for awesome authentic tacos, this place is it. There are no prices listed but the menu is enticing enough you don’t care. We had last minute dinner plans before catching a flight out of Phoenix and this taco truck came up on our route. Best Birria, Carne Asada and Churros. I even ordered a second birriataco. Happy soul and happy stomachs!!!

I love authentic Mexican food, I had a craving for some brirra tacos. Google said this place was close, so I thought I should try it, and OMG, I ate 6 of them, and they were not tiny little things. I will be returning for more. *Burp*
