My favorite kind of restaurant - "Mom and Pop". Beats a chain restaurant any day! Anyway, excellent food and service in a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere, and the prices were great, despite the current devastated economy. I'll be back as often as I can, even though it's several miles from where I live. Totally worth the drive! I recommend Mickey D's Cafe, without reservation, to anyone and everyone.

This is our local go to for a nice hot weekend breakfast. The bagel sandwich is a personal fave. Take note that they have a cheese option of provolone, Swiss or American even though it's not on the menu. I love it with provolone. So delish. The omelets are also very good and always hot. Home fries are also spot on. ?
Try it, you'll like it. And if you like pancakes, try the blueberry. So tasty!!

Good American breakfast spot in AJ. The food was good. Bigger than I thought inside, lots of room. If you're looking for a decent, typical American breakfast, you can't go wrong here. My only real complaint is that the coffee is weak and pretty terrible.

Great breakfast for those early 0500 rides up Apache Trail to TTF. Nice to come back to yummy hot breakfast! Excellent service and friendly staff willing to accommodate. Can get crowded on weekends, so plan accordingly! Definitely worth the wait! :)

Meal was the worst I have had in a long time. When I finally was able to place my order, I explained to the waitress that this was my first time there (meaning unfamiliar with the restaurant). Ordered the chicken fried steak special, and when asked about eggs, I explained over easy, but I wanted the whites cooked completely whatever that needed to be noted as. She asked about toast, and I answered english muffin (which i later learned has an upcharge of $1)... no warning of this even though it's it's my first time there.
Meal arrives covered in an awful excuse for gravy and extremely snotty eggs. I brush them aside and, when checking out, tell the cashier. She offered no compensation and blames me for not telling someone. Not coming back.

This is a big little restaurant. Lots of seating, unless it's snow bird season, but good small restaurant service and food. A half order of biscuits and gravy filled a large plate, the combo came with two plates, totally enough food, but get the full order if you eat big. I gave 4 on service just because I thought waiting to take the food order was a little too long. Coffee is good.
