The Sandwich Shoppe

I don’t know how the sandwiches taste. The lady behind the counter (I believe she was the owner) was not welcoming and honestly rude. I went in on my 30 minute lunch break and she was making sandwiches for a couple who were sitting down obviously at their leisure. She never said hello or acknowledged my existence. She just talked to her other two customers and they chatted for about 10 minutes. She finally looked up and told me it would “be a while” and continued on to start making a batch of tuna salad. So I left and really can’t say how the food tasted???? I do understand that sometimes service in a small business can’t be immediate…. But the ATTITUDE was just terrible!

Excellent Boars Head deli sandwiches; at a time when delis are harder & harder to come by, this little deli is everything I look for in a sandwich shop. I believe in supporting small businesses & the owner is so kind & full of ideas for fun things to do in the area ? We've been twice already during our 3 week stay, & hope to come again; if you enjoy great sandwiches with a wide selection of options, please check out The Sandwich Shoppe in Apache Junction ?

Parking: Parking lot is a bit small, so parking may be a bit limited but we always found a spot.

The reviews are great but hours are terrible. I never thought to check their hours and I got there at 4:05p and found that they closed at 3p so if you want a sub for supper you better buy it at lunch time or go elsewhere.

Best sandwich in AJ! They were out of white bread so we had the wheat instead. It was delicious. I had the ham delight and my husband had the Italian. We will return and reccomend this place to all our friends!
