I loved this BBQ joint. Our friends from Phoenix told us there was no good bbq to be found, so I went on a mission to prove them wrong.This place was so good, we tried it a second time, just to make sure. You can’t go wrong with the ribs and the brisket was great too. Don’t forget the sides. I think they have my favorite coleslaw I. The coleslaw and the Mac ‘n cheese? AMAZING!!Top the bbq off with great music this place becomes a no brainer.

They charge 19.99 for a pulled pork sandwich?! Laughable. No thanksEdit: I came in on 3/11/23 and was going to be charged 19.99 for a pulled pork sandwich that came with 1 side. Not sure why they are saying its 15.99.

Waitress was nice the Beer was ice cold I enjoyed that but the $28.99 3 meat platter maybe had enough meat to make a sandwich . It was equivalent to a taste test. Maybe 2oz of pulled pork 2 very small slices of brisket and a sausage that wasn't very good. Now after 79.00 for two platters and two drinks we have to go find dinner somewhere.

My 4th time here, it doesn’t disappoint. Hidden Gem in Apache Junction, near Apache and Idaho. So very good!!! Tried the brisket sandwich this time, didn’t want my dinner to end. Kimberly is awesome and Duane’s bbq is off the charts. Can’t say enough good things, if your in the mood for bbq… make the time to check out the Tipsy Kow in AJ. You’ll be glad you did! ?

Was in the area on a family vacation and wanted to try a local barbeque joint. Don't let the small building fool you! This was some of the best barbeque we've ever had. Great ribs, brisket, pulled pork and sides. Friendly service as well!

This one of our go to places for barbecue. The food is to die for and the sides are exceptionally delicious. This place should be packed every night. However, it is tucked away in Apache Junction on a side street. If you want a great meal, this is a great place to go. Highly recommend this place.

I would give Tipsy a 10+ but it only goes to 5. I love BBQ and have tried several in the Phoenix valley. This is easily in the top two and actually I would rate it the top one. It’s a little hole in the wall with not much seating. BUT it is clean, friendly, cozy and some of the best music I have had the pleasure of listening to while in a restaurant…perfect for a BBQ joint. That’s the environment. The food is even better. They serve the ribs naked with the sauce on the side. I always wonder why ribs are served lathered with sauce. What is trying to be covered up? Aren’t the ribs any good? Not here…no fear…because the ribs are top notch. The brisket as well as the ribs are first rate but what really gets a top grade are the sides. Beans, potato salad, cole slaw and Mac and cheese. Good BBQ takes skill but what really makes the BBQ are the sides. My mouth waters as I write this thinking about them. That is what sets Tipsy apart from all others. ALL their sides are worth the trip alone (I cannot say that about any other BBQ spot). Add the meats and you have died and gone to BBQ heaven.Don’t pass up this opportunity…stop in. I promise you will not regret it.

Found this little hole in the wall in a strip mall. Service was very good. Pulled pork and brisket were very good. Ribs were a little dry.

Just came across this place when looking for somewhere new to try. The food was awesome, especially the ribs that fell off the bone. The only downside was the portion size of the platters. I wish we would have gotten just a little more meat. I'm definitely going back!

Stumbled onto this place purely by accident. It's a bit tucked away but the reviews were good so we decided to check it out. We both had the brisket sandwiches and Mac n cheese and wow were they unbelievably good! The brisket was fall apart tender and smoked just right. The bbq sauce which I normally don't put on anything was good enough to just drink straight! The Mac n cheese was very nicely flavored and I didn't need to add anything to it. I'm a huge salter as my wife will tell you but this time around the shaker was left unshook as it wasn't needed. The waitress and owner were very nice and super friendly, as well very patient when I couldn't make up my mind. The only negative thing I can say is that seating is extremely limited and you'll be hard pushed to get more than a table of four sitting together, so don't bring twenty of your closest friends, but do order takeout instead.

Where has this place been all my life? THE best bbq I think I've ever had. The brisket was very flavorful, tender and smoked to perfection. Then the ribs...oh, the ribs were killer. So good i even ordered a rack to go! They even had live music the guy was really good. Servers did a great job were fast, very polite and patient with everybody even considering how busy it was we were still made to feel very welcomed. I highly recommend this place. We need to help support these guys make sure they keep their doors open. Adorable little spot.

I had heard that the BBQ was really good! Absolutely the worst ribs I've ever had, the home made Mac and cheese was runny with no flavor or cheese taste! The ribs were over smoked and had gelatinous fat that was quite off putting. The place looked clean and the bartender was nice but less than helpful with her overloaded opinion on how good the ribs were! I had ordered 2 1/2 slabs and literally only ate 2 ribs- had to throw them in the garbage! Don't waste your money!!!
