Fun little hidden gem in Arivaca, AZ with authentic Mexican food. There is a limited menu and no beverages but it is good stuff. It is a one woman show so it may take some time to get your food but is quiet delicious. I had the chicken tacos with cheese and salsa. I’d like to come back and try the carne asada and the breakfast burritos.
We have heart from neighbors in Green Valley that Arivaca Soul Food has great food, so we decided to drive up to Arivaca to find out for ourselves. We called ahead to ensure they were open and of their hours and policies, given that during the COVID-19 pandemic, it seems each restaurant handles things in their own way ... and that is understandable. One of those rare hole in the wall restaurants that didn't even have a wall. Picnic benches outside but some of the best prices and best Mexican food I've ever had while at a restaurant. Unfortunately I was just there in October of 2023 and it's no longer in business.
