Selling hot coffee with no lid is dangerous and completely irresponsible. How is a customer supposed to drink hot coffee while driving without a lid?
I didn’t even get to drink the coffee I paid for. The woman working there did not apologize and did not proactively offer a refund, which was extremely disappointing.
This goes beyond poor service—it’s a serious safety issue. I will be disputing the charge with my bank and filing a complaint.

I need to be direct. Your decaf machine has been down for almost a month, and that’s unacceptable for a drive‑through operation. Once customers pull in, we’re locked into the line with no way to exit, only to find out a basic menu item isn’t available. At this point, it feels less like an inconvenience and more like a disregard for your customers’ time. I’m asking for this to be addressed with real urgency, because the current situation is pushing loyal customers away.

20+ minutes for a simple breakfast sandwich when other customers who placed orders after me received their food and drink before me! They really know how to make you feel insignificant.

I just went through the drive-through of the location on Dysart and Thomas and the gentleman working. The drive-through was extremely rude. Seemed as though he had no customer service skills or emotional regulation. It was 11:15 I ordered a large iced caramel Blondie with half-and-half. I was waiting at the order screen for a little while till car started stacking up behind me so I said politely “hello” And quickly, I get a snap back with that “I’ll be with you in a minute”, a minute goes by then he said “go ahead” I proceed to tell him my order which I come and get every single day of the week. He says “pull forward” with an annoyed voice. I get to the window and he’s just staring at his computer. Eventually He asked me if I have a phone number. I proceed to tell him my phone number hand in my cash. Tell him I don’t need any change. Thank you. I then asked him his name and he proceeds to tell me it was Pablo. I don’t know if that was his name, but that’s the name he told me. When my drink arrived from the barista and back of him, he grabbed my drink and walked somewhere where I couldn’t see him for like 30 seconds then comes back and gives me my coffee. No have a good day. Literally crickets. I usually don’t have any issues at this black rock I’ve been coming here for years, but that gentleman was completely rude and shouldn’t be in customer service if He’s going to get offended over someone saying hello when they’ve been waiting at the order screen. Usually, the team will say we’ll be right with you and proceed to be polite, but not this guy. Hopefully management has a talk with him about his attitude or replace him with someone with a better one
I finally found eggnog latte!!! So delicious, and the young lady who waited on me at the window was so polite and friendly!
Clean, efficient, and very friendly coffee shop. The coffee is a tad bit pricey but it taste very good. The store is very clean which I appreciate. The staff are kind as well. Highly recommend.

Normally Blackrock would get 5 stars from me because I love them, however this location earned the three stars because they are always sold out of the items I consume. Gluten free bagels, now Fuel. Get the ordering down and the rating would go up

My first time trying Black Rock Coffee, and I absolutely loved it! The drinks are incredible, and the service was even better. Gavin helped me out and made my experience truly special—he suggested a Caramel Truffle drink with dark chocolate, and honestly, it’s one of the best coffee drinks I’ve ever had in my life. The flavor was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced—definitely something unique compared to other coffee chains.
Gavin is such a sweet and genuine person. He not only helped me choose my drink but also suggested some great Italian restaurants in town. Our conversation was so pleasant, and he made me feel completely welcome and at home. It’s rare to find such kindness and enthusiasm—it really made my visit memorable.
The rest of the staff were great too, the restrooms were clean, and the whole location felt bright, friendly, and well-kept. Huge credit to the Black Rock Coffee team for hiring people like Gavin who truly elevate the customer experience.
If you’re ever near Avondale or Goodyear, Arizona, definitely stop by this Black Rock Coffee location—you won’t be disappointed. Great coffee, great people, and an even greater vibe!

I stopped by today during their Teacher/Student/Staff Day, so it was understandably super busy. There were only a few girls working, and even though their lines were long and the wait took a bit, they stayed really kind, patient, and tried their best to accommodate everyone. I could tell they were working hard despite being short-staffed, and I really appreciate their positive attitude under pressure.
Honestly, people need to be more understanding. If you’re in a rush, maybe don’t choose the busiest coffee shop at the busiest time? pick somewhere else or come back later. They don’t deserve customers giving them a hard time when they’re clearly trying their best. Big shoutout to the staff for staying kind and patient through the chaos!

Arrived at 0855. You will be greeted then dismissed. Despite having a pick up you will be treated to wait in a line as if you just ordered at the front cashier. Order was placed for pick up at 0849. Time for pick up of order to be ready at 0856. I can understand an order not being fulfilled maybe 5 more minutes after. After waiting in line and finally being attended to at 0903, I was told 1of the 4 drinks ordered hasn’t been fulfilled. They said there were working on it. By 0913 I was then asked while I continued to wait if I had a pickup. I reiterated what I was told of 1 of the 4 drinks needing to be done. Although the front cashier seemed to think that my order was not completed at all despite the order in front of her. While still waiting for the one drink from my order, I noticed no cold foam was in one of the drinks I ordered. I asked why was this not addressed to me when at 0903 was told that I was here for my order. They said that they were out. And could provide a refund, that’s fine. Until 0920 is when I received the ONE drink I was waiting on from my order. It is inexcusable for the lack of organization and priority these employees had for pick up orders. I was not the only one waiting. The drive thru line had better management receiving their orders in a timely manner. Was given a number for management and have yet received a call. If it is even the managers number.

The iced chai and matcha are below mediocre and the customer service from immature high school or college students doesn’t make it any better. They’ll talk negatively about a customer and their order right in front of them. Do better! Seems like this shop is geared toward the younger crowd, I like better buzz coffee quality of drinks better. I won’t be returning thank goodness my drink was free because I downloaded the app.
