A true farm-to-table experience. Outside my window sits the 1/8-acre farm & garden that supplies their ingredients. After speaking with one of the owners about the story of this place, I can tell it's not "farm to table" because that's "trendy" these days, but rather because there is beauty in a supply chain that starts and ends in your community, pioneered and carried out by people of your community. The waffles were simply the best I have ever tasted. This is a place where you'll want to linger, not wanting to leave the scent of baking bread and roasting coffee.

Hidden gem in the heart of Avondale neighborhood. Beautiful, cozy, vintage vibes and overall welcoming spot. Good drinks, food and where else can you look out the windows witness food growing, bees pollinating and sun shining through?

Stopped by from out of town and this spot was perfect. Oat milk Ice Latte was delicious, espresso has nice soft roast but with a good kick.

Second time here and it won't disappoint! A lot of items are made when ordered so keep that in mind when you go. Today I had the Bolla with egg and bacon. Made fresh out of the oven. It was so tasty especially with the green Serrano sauce they offered to me! I'd like an extra large Bolla thank you! Their produce (or most of it) comes from one of their gardens which one you can see right outside the window. After lunch I am enjoying their fresh made banana nut loaf! Yum!

So glad this place exists on the west side. Such a great change from all things that are the typical chain restaurant. The coffee and breakfast food was very good. The bollo offers a great alternative to those that love a good breakfast sandwich!! I'll be a returning customer for sure.

I have yet to find a better place to grab breakfast and coffee at. Cold water is a staple of the community and they do their best to remember their customers. When I first found them I can three days in a row!! That's how amazing the food coffee and experience was. Do yourself a favor and come be a part of something special.

This is not on the beaten path, thank goodness!! Old town Avondale needs to be explored on my next trip which means I get to go back to Coldwater! Amazing bakery goods. I had an egg, herb and cheese Bollo. Perfect size, delicious flavor, I could have had two! I did order a side of sausage which complemented the delicate bollo nicely. One of our group is vegan and they cleaned the griddle to make her French toast. They explained the ingredients when they brought it out to her. Since it took longer, they brought her a bowl of fresh fruit! What great people to care that much about one order. It is clear every order is treated with the same care! Don't be in a rush when you come here. Enjoy the experience. I heard from others in our group that the waffles were delicious too! And the coffee!! Ugh, so much goodness!

I visited on an early Sunday morning and may have been the first customer. The coffeehouse is in a cute little bungalow with lots of charm but I'd eat their bollos all day long in an unfinished moldy dark basement. They're that good! I ordered the bacon and egg bollo and a black coffee. Both were outstanding! I ordered to go and was told my bollo would take 5+ minutes which seemed entirely reasonable.The staff were chill but appeared focused on my order and it was worth a tiny wait.
