The service when I went was slow and inattentive. The waitress for our table seemed to be having to be a waitress, hostess, and also handle all the to-go orders. Due to this excessive amount of job duties there was a large delay in both getting our orders in and then getting the check to leave. Beyond taking our orders, dropping it off, and giving us our check we were not checked in on because she was too busy.As to the food it was good, but not great. The overall experience greatly overshadowed it. I feel that if management were to hire more staff or allocate a specific employee to be only a hostess/to-go orders it would help.

If I could rate this restaurant a zero, I would! Wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting good service and a meal! Don’t waste your money on this place! My first experience with this place was ruined, and I will never step foot in this restaurant ever again!I was in your restaurant today for the first time for a luncheon. I was one of the early arrivals and placed my drink, food order, and an order to go. To my dismay, the server first forgot my drink order, and I had to re-request my soda. In the meantime, others arrived in my group and began placing their food orders. Everyone that came after me received their food, and still nothing for me. After I inquired about my order, the server went and checked, and it was sitting in to-go containers. I never stated I wanted my food order to go, which had been sitting in containers that were probably cold for all that time. I wanted my beignets to go to share with my family. Unfortunately, one of the servers returned with a snide remark stating it wasn't the original server's fault. However, everyone at my table heard I wanted the beignets to go. Therefore, I was offered cold food in the containers, which I declined. If I spend close to $50 for food, I would like hot food and a side of good customer service.

The entry way message was very welcoming and positive as well as the staffs. Our server was very knowledgeable and professional and personable. The parran, with gumbo and gator bites are scrumptious. Love having options or shrimps over crayfish. Unfortunately they were out if fried green tomatoes and banana pudding so we missed out of the final course. We will be back and bring more people....

Went on Fat Tuesday. Was looking forward to a Hurricane drink. They do NOT serve alcohol. Nor can you bring any in.Service was good. Friendly. Nice size portions. Needed a little more seasoning or spice. Prices are reasonable.
Stopped in to get some Cajun food. Did not disappoint. The service was good, despite it being busy. The food was on point! I ordered the Jolie Blon. Very tasty and nice portion sizes. I was even able to enjoy some leftovers the next day. Nice atmosphere and staff were attentive. Good experience and we will definitely be back!

Let's be real. I don't blame the wait staff or even kitchen. I get it you get "those days". But it was Friday night. Me and my party got there around 6pm. Waited over an hour for a waiter to say "hey sorry we're backed up". Over another hour later, we finally got our food. It was COLD. I had to send it back twice. I've only heard good things about this place. But I guess that night was just a bad timing.

This pace is great. My only regret is that I didn’t take any photos. I got the catfish and seafood gumbo and both were amazing. My buddy (bless his soul) got chicken strips. They looked good. Not a fancy place, but is clean.
