Perhaps my expectations were too high?? The plantains were stale and dry, my steak was tough and the house special garlic rice was unexciting. Very nice waiter and some interesting fruit drinks ? tho.

Amazing! The mix of papas, veggies, rice, chicken and steak was so good. The juices are unique and the yucca appetizer was a perfect start. A must if you're into unique quality food!

I usually never write a negative review, as I'd rather help a business than (possibly) hurt it. However, as a foodie & Peruvian food lover, I can't (in good conscience) let other Peruvian food lovers go without my honest opinion. I'm hoping the restaurant owner will take this feedback as constructive & make some sort of change to better the experience for others to come. The atmosphere was really nice - small place but did not at all feel small, considering there were a good amount of people there. Not packed..but not empty either. (5 stars)The service was nice as well - waitress greeted us, served our drinks & food promptly, even kept coming back to check on us. (5 stars)The food - if you're from the East Coast and/or Peruvian, just take my word and save your money. List of what we ate to follow.BREAD - first time having bread served as a pre-appetizer but welcomed. Served hot & soft - they give it to everyone, along with a bowl of cancha (IYKYK). Bread was good but DO NOT try the "spread" they give you with the bread - I don't know what it was but I thought it was some type of butter so I tried it. Nope. Had a weird cinnamon type taste to it. Odd.PAPA A LA HUANCAINA: one of my favorite appetizers but this place put a weird lemon-y type of twist to it, which (if you know Peruvian food) does not go well with huancaina sauce.JALEA: the saddest jalea plate I've ever seen. If you know jalea, it's a fried seafood platter with an onion type salad served on top. Also one of my favorite dishes. HOWEVER, what we got looked like the scraps from the bottom of the pot. Cooked well but presentation lacked quality/quantity and the onion salad (which is usually a PASS in all Peruvian restaurants I've been to) had a weird taste to it as well. Thankfully, and despite normal Peruvian plating, they didn't serve it on top of the seafood but on the side so it didn't affect the seafood.LOMO SALTADO DE CARNE: this is a traditional Peruvian dish that is so standard, even I can make it....lol the lomo itself was ok, especially compared to the rest of what we tried. 2 outta 5 stars, nothing special but not terrible either. HOWEVER, the white rice they served with it (as is custom for this plate) was mushy. It was either overcooked or too much liquid was absorbed into the rice - either way, not edible.CHAUFA (fried rice for those who don't know - vegetarian, as my niece does not eat meat): FAIL. this came out before my lomo and right off the bat, we saw the mushiness of the rice and could not eat it. The owner ended up coming over after we told the waitress we couldn't eat it and offered to replace it with a vegetarian tallarin saltado, after breaking down how their rice is made and that the cook wasn't their original cook - I don't know. A cook is a cook. And a cook that can't cook rice..should not be cooking at a Peruvian restaurant. (IMO)TALLARIN SALTADO: though a "better" substitute for the mushy chaufa fail, the noodles were not your standard tallarin pasta noodles and frankly, lacked flavor.Overall, I'm from NJ & grew up in a small town with the biggest Peruvian population in all of the states, so I get that I may have somewhat of a different Peruvian palate compared to others but if you want to eat authentic Peruvian food - I wouldn't recommend this place.BTW: the owner and servers were really nice - they knew we were not happy with our meals but at that point, what else could any of us do but keep it moving? It's funny cuz had you walked near our table, you would've thought "GEEZ!!! They must cook REALLY good here!" because the way we left no potatoes on that huancaina plate, no lomo on the saltado plate and just crumbs (and onion salad) from the jalea, anybody would've thought the same thing. But maaaan, when I tell you we were STARVING when we got there! God knew to take us there that hungry, otherwise....who knows what would've happened LOLKid-friendliness: Had my 3 year old great nep

Had to check this restaurant out as several people in my neighborhood have been talking it up. Well, it met all expectations. The food was excellent and the owner stops by the table several times to make sure your experience is terrific. The Peruvian beer was also tasty.

Finally got a chance to check out this local joint off of Dysart Drive. Service was great . Food was delicious . The price was expensive but we don't mind paying as long as we can continue to support local authentic mom and pop joints like this! Thank you for bringing Peruvian food to west valley! Will be back to try other dishes.

I love a place where the owners deeply care about the food they serve. Everything at Inca Fusion is made fresh daily and you can tell. We had a nice chat with the owner, Louis, and he not only gave us a brief overview of Peruvian food, but also about the restaurant. The place was clean and neat and the staff were friendly and well trained. The food was excellent. Everything we had from the bread plate to the Flan was terrific! Try this place. You won't be disappointed.

3D mural to enjoy while eating the delicately flavored food. The rice is amazing. Try the Chichamorad which is made in house. The owner could not be nicer and more knowledgeable.

There is a reason why this restaurant has almost entirely 5 star reviews! This was my first time eating Peruvian cuisine. The owner of the restaurant was our server and he provided outstanding customer service, was very friendly, and provided us with menu recommendations. The Maracuya drink, Lomo Saltado and Cancha was delicious. I definitely recommend eating at this restaurant and I will be back!

My Dad and Step-Mom were in town for a visit. My Step Mom, who is Peruvian suggested we try this place. Wow - what a great find! The got more of the traditional Peruvian dishes and loved them. I had the Salmon bowl. Fresh, fresh well seasoned/cooked Salmon. The best I have had in a long time and maybe ever. Vegetables were cooked to perfection. Food was served hot. I believe the owner or Manager waited on us... The service was as good as any high end restaurant in Scottsdale.
