First visit to a KK and left a lot to be desired. The good was the glazed donoughts were great. The doughnut holes (dots) on the other hand seemed likely they were probably “day old” and probably the worst we have ever had or as my daughter described “I feel like they are something I bought at a store, out of a bag that was on the shelf”. Also, ordered a glazed kreme filled as it’s shown on the menu board only to get our box and see it was NOT that but instead was a “chocolate” kreme filled. Not what we asked for, not what we ordered but sometimes a mistake happens, well not a mistake I guess. Lady at the window had quickly left the window area so I had to honk to get her back to drive thru window to let her know we received a chocolate glazed kreme filled and not what we ordered only to have her tell us that was the only kreme filled they had left….ie would have been good to know when I ordered as I don’t like chocolate and would have simply passed…NOT A WORD stating that when I ordered. So I handed it back and asked for a refund of that item, and was told could only give me another doughnut. Not even a simple sorry for the confusion or other standard, customary service orientated response….just another doughnut in its place that I really did not want. She had a not good attitude and seems to be going thru the motions and not happy to be there. Hindsight is 20/20 so looking back on some of the reviews looks like they just sell out of a lot of lots of things and just don’t have great service looking at the reviews and their rating. Live and learn I guess and that’s what reviews are for. Needless to say, I don’t think we will be back and not a great experience overall. I would suggest going to the family-owned donut shop around a corner near you, the last two we’ve been to in the last few weeks for surpass this corporate shop.

Krispy Kreme Avondale – What’s Going On?
Stopped by Krispy Kreme in Avondale this morning, expecting to grab some fresh mini glazed donuts—only to be told they wouldn’t be available until 1 PM. Isn’t morning the prime time for donuts? It’s disappointing to see a donut shop not have its most iconic item available when people actually want them.
Krispy Kreme, your hot-and-ready glazed donuts are what make you stand out, but if they aren’t available in the morning, you’re missing the mark. Hoping to see better availability moving forward!

Great service! Place is clean! Most of the donuts are amazing! I bought 6 apple fritters, YUCK. doughy center overcooked outside. Stay away from fritters, krispy kreme should stick to what they know.

Should of listened to the reviews before going ,rude employee that lady was no help and basically just charged me for what I didn't want because she had my card already and her tone about it was just soo rude and nasty obviously she could careless and just wanted to take her bad attitude on just about anyone that stopped by, never going again, first and last time and ruined my experience!
Why can't you purchase a dozen donuts of your choice without paying a separate charge ???? RIDICULOUS no other donut place does that !

I visit this location every so often especially lately due to pregnancy cravings. I went in today and the girl at the front was extremely rude and unfriendly. I don’t expect employees to be super nice and smile at me or anything like that, but she was definitely rushing us out of there. There was still 2 hrs left before closing so I wasn’t a last minute customer either. Seriously made me not want to come back.
