Really like the quality of the pizza crust. The staff is always very friendly. The one gripe I do have is when placing a carryout order the last three times I asked for sauce on the side for wings—and the sauce was placed on the wings (even states on the receipt). The staff is always willing to remake the order, however we then have the rest of the order sitting for 15 to 20 minutes waiting on the wings to be remade.

This place is fantastic. Great atmosphere and decoration. Great service, greeted/seated quickly and my waiter was great on all fronts.
Had the knots, brooklyn family pizza and buffalo wings. The knots were fantastic, warm with cheese melted over with alfredo. The wings had a buffalo sauce like no other buffalo sauce I've ever tasted, in a good way. It was bold but oddly sweet, I loved it. The pizza was absolutely fantastic. Plenty of toppings, not too greasy, superb dough/crust and topped off with delicious arugula(?).
Definitely recommend.

NYPD is the best pizza in the city as far as I’m concerned. But holy cow, for as much as they charge for the pizza, while it is worth it, I cannot believe they cannot get their shit together for delivery service. As a result you always have to go through Uber eats and it jacks up the price so much unnecessarily. But I still do it. But every time I try to order from the restaurant and their own delivery, “oops, sorry, we don’t have a driver tonight.“ Really?! Get it together. This has been the same thing for YEARS at this location in Avondale… at the expense of loyal customers.
Again, the food is perfection. It is so good.

Drove all the way home only to get a phone call telling me I got the wrong order. So I drove all the way back in typical Avondale traffic to get the rest of my order and give somebodys order back! The delivery driver then bagged up and took to someone else. These people sent out food after it being in another customers possession. I got an insincere apology for my trouble. $70 to eat food had to heat up in the microwave.
Update: the management team did reach out to try and make it right. It’s appreciated.

My husband Doug and I always rave rave about NYPizza. Whenever we have out of town guests, we always order. Tonight it was my husband and myself. We ordered a pepperoni pizza. The pizza was stale. There was almost no cheese on the pizza - it was very stiff and the crust was not good. Don't know what happened. We ate it because we were hungry. Don't know if we will order again. Nancy

Took over 1.5 for our pizza and then it was brought out cold. Had us standing waiting to be seated for 30 minutes when there was plenty of tables available. Worst service ever since I have been here several times before.

Pizza reminded me of my trip to NY. Pizza was thing, crust was crispy, and toppings tasted homemade. Just a perfect pizza. Wings also had a good taste and not saturated with sauce. Service was good but our seats were uncomfortable. Cushion a little worm out. Im sure not all are like this.I will make this place a norm and highly recommend it.
