Tacos are incredible salsa is incredible birria is incredible everything is incredible! This place is authentic Mexican and great! Im from California and this is one of the few that actually tast authentic out here! Love it!
Complete salsa bar . Tacos are bomb !!
And they have Taco Tuesday 1.50$ Asada Pollo Pastor .
First the attitude was the worst. Second just look at this sad 14 dollar burrito. Not worth it at all just don't come. They want to have a nasty attitude and for the food to be nasty and to cost so much. You can't have both either have an attitude and have good food or bad food with good attitude!!!
Just returned from Mexico for my cataract surgery checkup, and on my way to a listing appointment recommended by my wonderful Filipino community, I stumbled upon a gem of a taco restaurant: Tacos el Yiyo! Located at 10933 W Buckeye Rd, Avondale, AZ, this place instantly brought back memories of some of the best tacos I've ever had.
I decided to treat myself and ordered a delightful mix: 2 steak tacos, 2 al Pastor, 1 chicken taco, and a refreshing Mexican Coke, all for just $15. Initially, the tacos tasted decent, but once I loaded them up with fresh onions, cilantro, pickled onions, carrots, grilled jalapeños, and a variety of other toppings, they transformed into something truly magical! Each bite was a burst of flavor that made my taste buds dance with joy.
I can't wait to return, especially after my photography appointment. I plan to leave a little early so I can savor more of those incredible tacos. I have a feeling that the meats will taste even better when they come straight off the grill, and I’m looking forward to experiencing that deliciousness again.
Tacos el Yiyo is definitely a place I will be visiting frequently! 🌮
Hidden gem, mainly locals who are Spanish speaking only but Very authentic Mexican food with no frills, you can order in English no problem. In a mixed use building so drive way into parking lot can easily be missed. Plenty of parking and the smell of charcoal is a pleasure and welcoming sign you are in the right place. Dining room is small but has a great salsa / topping bar with many choices including roasted onions and peppers and a warm salsa, as well as cilantro, lime, pickled veggies, multiple red and green salsa choices with individual containers and bags for everything. Authentic Mexicans sodas and beer available as well. Food is always made to order and comes out hot and fresh, Tacos, burritos and quesabirria are my favorite but honestly everything here looks amazing. I've been on an Al Pastor Burrito kick lately. Good service and good prices have made me a regular.
Good place tacos are fire took the whole work crew there
First time here. Service was fast and food looked clean and good ..but no flavor. I ordered cabeza tacos and quesabirria . The horchata they gave me neither of my two cups had ice.. the horchata was warm and tasted like they added too much water (no flavor) also the consome didn't have much flavor even after I added seasoning to it... It's not a horrible place but it does need a bit more attention .
Food was amazing! Definitely worth the visit!

BEST TACOS HANDS DOWN!! 😋🌮🌯🙌🏽
I haven't had tacos and burros this good and this authentic since I lived in Chicago. You can smell the meat grilling before you even walk in (that's ALWAYS a good sign). When I first went, I ordered 2 lengua tacos, 1 cabeza taco and 1 asada burro. ALL of the meat was so tender, juicy and flavorful❤️ It was soooo good, I went back the following Saturday (that's my cheat day😜) and got the same thing. Outside of the food, the lady at the counter is very friendly, the restaurant is clean and they have the BEST SALSA BAR! I had never seen or heard of a 'salsa bar' until I moved to Phoenix, but now I don't want to go to any taco place that doesn't have one lol🤷🏽♀️ The restaurant itself doesn't look like much, but you don't go there for the atmosphere. That again is another sign that the food is REALLY good and the place is authentic. This is officially my 'go to' spot for tacos and burros, they have a loyal customer for life😍❤️🌮

Best carne asada fries... Fries are kept extremely crisp on the outside and soft on the inside

Amazing little taco joint. Nothing fancy, but extraordinary Mexican food.
The food here is simply incredible, bursting with authentic flavors, inexpensive, and a hidden gem locals are lucky to have.
It won’t win awards for ambiance, but if you enjoy fresh and flavorful Mexican food you should treat yourself here.

Love the food here. Tacos are good, que quesabirrias, the birria, the consome. Pretty much everything I've tried is good. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was their sopes. Love going to pick up my menudo on Sunday mornings!
