Honestly, it was a great experience.
We went during happy hour (highly recommend!). We were kindly greeted by the waitstaff and sat almost immediately.
We did the 3 for 33, with another appetizer, just so we could taste around. The appetizers we ordered were the crispy rice bites and the calamari.
The crispy rice bites were definitely better than the calamari, but both were still very good.what I loved the most is that the bites played very well to the variety of textures, like the soft salmon, paired with the fresh jalapeño, then the crispy rice. It was all great.
The best part of the meal by far was the sushi (which is what we hoped). We were blown away by the presentation, quality, and taste of both of the rolls. We ordered the Rock & Roll (wives choice) and the Tis’ the Salmon (my choice). Both were so tasty. It’s awesome to know this place is right down the road from us because we will definitely want to come back soon!

For all you can eat you have to sit at the bar and can only order one at a time, Which takes forever! The guys making rolls do not wear anything to cover their long beards and are constantly rubbing their face. I also saw a huge water cup with straw next to the prep station which is also not sanitary. Barely anything is included in the all you can eat. Had high expectations for this place.

It’s a great spot—amazing food, great atmosphere. It’s definitely on the pricier side, so it depends on what you’re looking for. But if you’re trying to impress someone, this place delivers. It’s got the vibe, the service, and the food to make it a memorable time.

I've been here multiple times and the food is always outstanding. The Trapper roll isy favorite while The Bonney Lake is my son's. We've always had the lunch All- You-Can-Eat and enjoy the wide variety of appetizers and rolls.

Had a great visit. Devon was very nice and a great sushi artist!! Loved the 90s tunes as well!
First time here. Our sushi chef Devon's third day on the job, and he's killing it! My wife and I love this place already. Great spot.

I have always loved trappers, I came from washington and now live in arizona, it's always been great. Today is my last day in arizona as im moving to IL, and my last time having trappers for a while. Everytime I've been here, its been amazing. I'd rate it 6/5 if I could. Steveo has always been the one to serve us and he is a god amongst men when making sushi and making people feel welcome. Tonight I was disappointed, the sushi chef making our sushi didnt hardly talk to us at all, and his sushi didnt seem as good either. It was room temp, didnt look very appealing, and took awhile, too. I guess my standards are just high because of Steveo, but its disappointing that my last time at Trappers was a so-so experience.

Oh man, tried this place out for the first time. Was not impressed. I can see why a lot of people rate it highly but the food was not up to our standards. Service was fine but won't be going back.

Awesome lunch special and worth it for the dinner. Lunch is about 22 per person, and dinner was 33. You can't really go wrong with 20 bucks for all you can eat sushi. I could only eat about 3 rolls so you definitely get what you pay for. Try out the Mt. Rainer roll, you'll thank me.

I'd never been to Trapper's. I was pleasantly surprised. Adequately priced for sushi in AZ. Food was beautiful and delicious. Service was top notch. I had the sushi tacos and calamari. Incredible.
