What a delightful atmosphere to have lunch on the patio at Benson City Grille located at the local golf course. Watching the ducks on the ponds was a treat. I had the San Pedro Chopped Salad ($12). I thought it was a great value with the portion size. The lettuce was crisp and fresh. Even in very fine dining restaurants I end up picking out brown lettuce pieces. It has a cozy and comfortable atmosphere and the option to sit on a covered porch, if you choose, as well as bar seating, but no one under 21 is allowed at the bar. This is a grill at a golf course clubhouse. You can dine on the patio or sit inside. There is a view of a large pond where ducks, birds & golfers can be seen. For our meal, we had a reuben and a burger. The burger was fantastic! The reuben, on the other hand, either lacked meat or the meat wasn't equally distributed as a quarter of the sandwich was just sauerkraut. The accompanying fries were excellent! Their sangria drink was a highlight of our dining experience!
