Possibly going out of business. Not the only duckies BBQ. That is temporarily closed. I don't see why is not open with this great economy.
We are always happy with our food here. Our daughter loves the chopped brisket.

My first meal when I arrived in Benson over 5 months ago was at this Dickey's location and the most notable aspect of my experience beyond how delicious the BBQ is prepared was the superb food server Brittany! Her skills and outstanding customer service far exceeds the norm and I'm certain brings the regulars back. Every establishment needs a Brittany to turbo charge a great product like Dickey's BBQ!

Recent order of 1/2 pound brisket, and 1/2 rack of ribs to go resulted in what could only be described as brisket and pork rib jerky., Horribly dry and tasteless.

NEVER a bad place to satisfy the BBQ cravings. Always a friendly staff, clean and almost homey in a re-vamped Burger King.
While not on the menu anymore, if you ask nice and are lucky enough to have one of the more experienced staff, Brisket Frito Pie will have you believing you are in Texas itself.
We have enjoyed Dickey's for years during Texas adventures. Having one in Benson is AMAZING and worth the drive. We don't get there often but anytime we can find a reason to head east we try to plan lunch or early dinner as a Dickey's stop.
Brisket, Smoked Pork, can't be beat. They now have macaroni stacks (meat of your choice on their excellent macaroni) on purpose.

SO disappointed and will NOT be returning. Folks, I usually only ever leave reviews if they're positive and don't like spreading negativity. So when I tell you that these people today screwed our order, it was BAD. The young bearded man behind the counter had serious roid-rage vibes from the moment we walked in. Dunno where that type of aggression comes from, but it should be seen to. The most insulting part though was ordering a full rack of ribs and watching the kid behind the counter literally, and intentionally give us less ribbs than we paid for. As for the rest I'll let the pictures speak for themselves, except to add that it was a shameful soggy amount of fries, and I felt robbed by way of quantity for dollar. I've been going to this place on and off since they opened years ago, and I have ALWAYS loved eating the BBQ with my family, but we will NOT be going back.

Food was good and cheap staff was friendly and helpful
This is my fav Dickey's when I'm out this way. It's off the highway in a small town so I like that it seems to service truckers and the locals. Quaint, quiet and the employees are always super friendly and wonderful every time. Homey feeling. Of course I go there because the food is delicious.
