Stopped here for lunch passing through. They serve breakfast all day and had many options. The raspberry iced tea was awesome! The corn muffin was the best I ever had I ended up getting one to go as well.

I'm rating this restaurant as average. It was pretty loud, but had a homey atmosphere. Though the food was pretty good, not great, service was not. First of all, they were really busy and severely understaffed. They did the best they could without the support they should have gotten from those higher up. Secondly, they were unable to master their payment technology and had to call presumably the owner for assistance. We, and those behind us, waited 10-15 minutes to pay, first because the waitresses were too busy, and then because they couldn't get the payment device to work.
I blame the owner/management for not properly staffing the restaurant, which is burdensome to the staff working and can cause accidents due to carelessness in pursuit of speed. Additionally, they should provide adequate training on technology. I felt so sorry for these extremely stressed employees. I get that scheduling issues happen. If that's the case, the manager or owner needs to get in there and roll up their sleeves.

Food was good, hostess/waitress is a jewel, worth stopping at but beware, the owner does not distinguish between credit and debit even though the bank does. They still take 3% service charge for a debit transaction, thus increasing their profit margin.

I ordered a side of hash-browns with some chopped up bacon and cheddar cheese on it, plus a coffee. The portion of hashbrowns was literally 3” x 4” and there was only about 10 bacon bits on top. And they charged me $14.95. And if that wasn’t enough, the server appeared to be strung out. Unfortunately, in Benson, there is very few places to have breakfast, but I’d rather starve then go back to this place.

Great small town restaurant !! All your classic breakfasts !!
What a nice little restaurant. Five us went on a Saturday morning and were seated right away. The food was pretty darn good. The service was great. Parking a big truck was a little challenging, but we made it.

We have lived in Benson for many years. And we have never gone to this place. When we finally did wow, we cannot believe that we have not been here before awesome place. Great food The service was absolutely spot on. She was so great and obviously we tipped her very well. And that showed the amount of service that she gave us. We will definitely be back
