For the only thing out here in Mescal, I'm so grateful that this fun little bar and grill is here. Always nice people and service, karaoke on what seems like most nights, and live bands sometimes (check their website). Locals get together weekly to play poker, old dudes get together daily to complain, and the food is pretty decent for their tiny kitchen.

Walked in about 4pm ish with two other people in my group to eat dinner. Place was pretty slow few folks at the bar and another table in the back. Took the bartender about 15 minutes to acknowledge us and another 10 to get a drink order. After about 45 minutes we decided to tab out and leave. I love a good dive bar but this was not it for me unfortunately. Might be great on another day.

Came to town to visit my mother from Texas. We stopped in to have lunch. I was very impressed with the atmosphere, clean, and the decorations were perfectly done! My grilled chicken salad was great and my mom had nachos, they looked and smelled so good. I recommend swinging by for drinks or a meal, cute place, and they have live music a lot.

We stopped here on the way back to Tucson from Kartchner Caverns. The food was great and I the whole place gave off a playful vibe reminiscent of a western diner. My partner had a cheeseburger and I had pulled pork. We'll definitely go back when we're that way again.

Helen the bartender, server, lady of all trades was great! And not just because we have the same name . Great customer service, food was tasty and came out quick. We stopped for lunch on the way through from Texas to California, so didn't have a cocktail, but plenty of cold beers went out to the other customers. Place was clean and heard they have music on some weekends. We would come back again!

Love this place! Your typical small town bar with friendly faces, bands, karaoke, bar food, etcParking: Plenty if free parkingKid-friendliness: It's a bar but they allow kids... During the day no biggie in evenings I'd recommend no kids it's more a bar scene at that point.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.
Pretty much an only game in town versus fast food near the highway. A hopping joint on a Saturday night. Pleasantly surprised as other reviews noted. Okay food- Patty melt & roast beast au jus selections. All sides were fried tater types. More staff was really needed to handle the quantity of customers. Must say there were plenty of unique folks & a first time to see customers seated at the pool table to eat dinner!

WOW!!! What a DELICIOUS gem in Benson, AZ! My colleague and I had a business meeting in town and decided to stop for dinner before heading back to Tucson. Honestly, WOW doesn’t explain it! We ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich and the steak au jus sandwich with fries and coleslaw. Let me tell you, I’ve had my share of Philly sandwiches in my life and this one is *HANDS DOWN* the *BEST* I’ve *EVER* had! My colleague and I shared the sandwiches and he agreed - the BEST!! Thank goodness this restaurant isn’t in Tucson otherwise they’d have a regular customer and I’d have an expanded waistline ?? If you’re ever near Benson or pass through, EAT HERE - I promise, you won’t be disappointed!!! Please note: if you're looking for this restaurant after sunset, be very cautious because it is very dark on the frontage road leading up to the restaurant and there isn't a well-lit sign in front of it so it could easily be missed!I gave 'Service' four stars instead of five because it did take a little too long for our server to greet us and get us menus. She was, however, very pleasant and delivered EXCELLENT customer service once she acknowledged us!I gave 'Atmosphere' four stars only because there wasn't anything super good or super bad about it. The decor was pretty standard bar decor but the place was clean and the seating was well spaced out.The four stars don't reflect on the food at ALL so get your butts down to Benson and try it out!
I love this bar. The owners rock. The bartenders are awesome. The food is amazing.

Wife and I went here on a Saturday evening to grab a drink. This is definitely a dive bar that was 80% empty at 8. We sat at the bar and the bartender took our order of a large Coors Light and a house margarita. For an empty bar/restaurant, she pretty much ignored us and had zero personality. We definitely got the "for locals only" vibe. After our drinks sat empty for 10 minutes she finally walked 10 feet down the bar to ask us if we wanted refills. We opted do for our check. We were surprised when she told us $13 for the 2 drinks (remember this is a total dive bar off the beaten path). Anyone who brags about the "ambiance" is stretching the truth. Wife thinks she charged us more than the locals because this group wouldn't be paying $5 for a beer when they can get a 15 pack of Natty Light for $11.
