Agaves offers excellent service and great food in a warm, familiar atmosphere. The chili relleno and combo pork tamale & chicken soft taco were delicious, served with cold beer, excellent chips, and salsa. The restaurant features a friendly environment that feels like an old school Mexican place. Taco Thursday is highly recommended, with friendly service and good prices, making it perfect for family celebrations. The place also offers a fantastic weekday special every day of the work week; for example, the Monday special is a carnitas plate for $11.50, which many say is the best they've ever had. The food is authentic, fresh, and prepared with care. The service is attentive, and guests are treated like special visitors whether busy or not. All veggies are fresh, and special requests are accommodated easily.
