Maki Sushi was a pleasant surprise. Though we were the only ones dining in, the atmosphere was calm, clean, and welcoming. The staff was exceptionally friendly and made us feel right at home. I ordered the Spider-Net Roll and my boyfriend had the Baked Salmon Roll, both were delicious with generous portions. Great quality sushi at very affordable prices.
Our favorite sushi spot
This place is worth 10 stars but every time I go there they're always closed when they say they're open
This is the second time we have come from Kingman to Bullhead to eat here and they are not open during their designated hours. They even have a paper on their window that says the times and they are not open when they should be
Can’t say I’ve ever been full off of sushi until today. Huge rolls and all very good! Definitely recommend! Wish i had this place where i live 😭
Delicious and big sushi rolls at a reasonable price. Very friendly and kind people. Would recommend to anyone who lives or is visiting bullhead city!
The people were nice but the food wasn’t good ?

The smell is strong in there. Rice was crunchy is some parts and sticky in others had a weird water taste to it and odd size rolls. Not the best I’ve had from here it kinda sad

This is an expensive Japanese restaurant to have your meal, but the serving sizes of your orders and the freshness of the food served make the price worth it. You'll be the judge of your own, but will guarantee you will have the same reaction to the freshness of the food at a bigger portion.
Parking: Parking is on gravel road, unpaved. There is a handicap space but further away from the entrance door.
Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is on a flat surface, with double hinged doors, the doors are not automatic and will have to be held open for wheel-chaired customers.

I owe this place a second review as I did not leave one the first time we visited this lovely and easy to miss little sushi restaurant, run by what I've seen is two people, making this a very much Ma and Pa restaurant. Maybe one visit I can chat with them, I imagine their story is fascinating! Now on to the food! Sushi is King here, but also, so is everything else I've tried, or my spouse has tried. The prices are as fair as you can ask for, we fed our family of five for 100 before tip with almost 8 rolls ordered and appetizers too. Each roll is an adventure and I've tried a few between my two visits and plan to make many more. I ordered the green dragon roll and the m-80 roll. Holy heck, m-80 is aptly named as it blew my mind! It's a hot roll and it's amazing. The green dragon has cooked eel inside so its warm in the middle and delicious. Gyoza and the house salad for apps. My wife had the udon meal with tempura shrimp and a Cali roll, of which all she praised. The best comes last as the Mrs? Came out from the back with 3 ice cream bars for my kids! What a great little place with great food and a cozy atmosphere. I will make this place a regular stop.

The place REEKS of sewer ALWAYS! The chicken is like rubber jerky from a Walmart tv dinner tray left out too long.

We have passed by this restaurant many times wondering how can it have fresh seafood in the middle of the desert? Finally the curiosity got the better of me. I pulled into the parking lot. The dining room was very clean. The decor was mild Asian. The chef and the waitress were very nice. I ordered the sashimi appetizer plate and was pleasantly surprised. It was very good. I also ordered the shrimp tempura which was ok but it was more like the frozen shrimp you get at a supermarket. I also ordered the heated sake and it complimented the sashimi. I will be going back to try their other items on the menu. I will recommend Maki Sushi to my friends. The fish were excellent.

Been here on the order of once a month for almost a year. Food was pretty good (and HUGE!), and service WAS good. This time, we walked in, and the raw sewer smell that hit was intense (literally, not dramatic!), we up and left before we even looked at the menu. This was not a slight "sorry about that, just happened, we are working on it" situation. ANY business that has that smell, let alone that concentration, should have been self-closed pending repair/cleanup. But a SUSHI restaurant open for service in that stench is quite worrying.
