I really can't rate the service or atmosphere as I picked up a pizza and took it home. We moved into the area and decided to try Vito's hoping to find a good pizza place in town. We're still looking. Living in NY for several years and visiting Chicago and other places many times, we know good pizza. This isn't it. Crust was pre-made. Sauce and cheese were definitely not homemade or fresh and definitely packaged store-bought items, and it had a frozen pizza-like quality. If this is what you like, then you'll love this pizza. If you like a pizza with fresh dough, homemade sauce and cheese, then this isn't the place for you.

The four people in my group were complimentary of their food. For my part, I asked if I could get just a slice of vegetarian pizza. Although a slice wasn't available, the server said I could go to their buffet, where slices of pizza were available. He said he'd ask the kitchen to prepare a veggie pizza and cut it up for the buffet. He told me when it was available. Also, when he saw that the buffet only had one slice available, he offered it to me. Although I don't remember what my meal cost, I remember being surprised by how low the price was.
A quaint sit down restaurant. We arrived too late for the salad buffet, but the dinner salad was delicious with freshly grated mozzarella cheese. The cheese bread came out fresh with meat sauce, It was delicious. The zucchini breading was too thick for my liking but still good at fulfilling my taste for fried zucchini. The ham and cheese sandwich was delicious and packed with a good meat to bread ratio. The bread was a good torpedo style bread. I am not local but when I’m back in this area, Vito’s will be on my list of food choices.
The salad bar was very good and well stocked. Pizza buffet was good. We'll be back.
