We stopped at the restaurant for dinner. We ordered a Navajo Taco and a similar fried bread with gravy, meat and onions. Portions were abundant but food was completely tasteless. The fried bread was almost cold but less cold than the toppings, which seemed to be added straight out of a can. Not recommended!
We enjoyed a meal at the restaurant

Stopped at location for lunch and at first glance of the location we thought what a gem! They do have a cool gift shop area and the dining room of the restaurant has nice views but the food was not good at all.

Stopped at the Cameron Trading Post on was to Page,AZ. Did not expect such a developed place. While it was looking fairly nondescript from outside the gift/ handicrafts shop was huge with a wide variety of handicrafts made by native Americans. The things on display were very unique and of fine quality. Prices were reasonable.
We ended up buying quite a few items though we went for coffee only.
The place has good well maintained restrooms too.
Overall it was pleasure to stop here.

This place deserves five stars, except for one very disappointing experience. Our room was spacious and lovely, the food was excellent, and the staff were courteous and attentive. However, when we arrived for dinner around 7:30pm (half an hour before they close), we were told there would be a twenty-minute wait, despite there being lots of empty tables. We were then handed a buzzer, and told that it will only ring from "inside the store", and our time of arrival was written down on a slip of paper. Sure enough, exactly 20 minutes later, our buzzer rang and we were seated immediately, and had a wonderful dinner.
This obvious ploy to get us to shop the merchandise in their store was not very well received, because we had already spent significant time in the shop, and had already bought some souvenirs. Even worse, the party seated near us (that arrived around 7:40, and were seated at 8) were told that the kitchen was mostly closed, and that they could only order sandwiches. The group was obviously distressed, as they were only told this AFTER their unnecessary 20 minute wait.
There were plenty of tables open, and plenty of staff to attend to tables. The only explanation for the wait was to force folks to spend time in the shop, and potentially buy something.
Note to the managers: If you'd like to force folks to spend time in the store, maybe don't make it so incredibly obvious. Our experience was absolutely flawless otherwise. This was the nicest hotel we stayed in on our entire two weeks in AZ, and one of the best meals too!

Interesting, Their security didn’t allow me to stay 5 minutes at their parking lot
Seems like the waitress we had hate her job. We seated for 20 mins and nobody came to take our order. There were 3 people came after us but received the service before us. When we finally received of food, guess what, it’s the wrong order.

Food is bland
Food and drinks: Restaurant had great food. Great fire kept warm after cool hike.
We ate breakfast here. We try to stop whenever we are near. Seemed off their stride this visit. Service a little slower than normal. New cook maybe? I have every faith they will get back to their top notch selves.

Food and drinks: Sopaipilla was huge and delicious. The fry bread toppings are disappointingly mainly beans and lettuce and little bit of cheese. The server never came to check on us. So I gave up wishing for sour cream and hot sauce.

When booking the hotel room, it was stated on the website that every room has a balcony. On site it turned out that some rooms have a real balcony, but most have a balcony-like room entrance, which in my opinion has nothing to do with a balcony.
The canyon view when booking turned out to be a view of the parking lot
In general I was a bit disappointed with the hotel. I was expecting a small, nice hotel. However, it was huge with a souvenir shop and tour buses stopping here.
The food in the restaurant was very tasty
Basically the hotel was comfortable and well located but a bit overpriced

We stayed here for one night during our trip to the Grand Canyon. Although we were late someone was waiting for us and told us, how to get to our appartement. The keys we got at the gas station. The complex and the rooms are very nice. So I had loved to stay longer, enjoy the breakfast and visit the store selling native American handcraft and art. But we wanted to be at the South Rim for sunrise. We managed that after a half-hour drive.

Make this a MUST SEE on your trip! The trading post is full of the most beautiful and authentic handcrafted Native pieces. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, especially Jeff. He gave us the warmest and most sincere greeting when we walked in the door. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped us find everything we were searching for and then some. We were thrilled to finally find authentic moccasins that my husband had always wanted. We almost didn’t stop here, but SO glad we decided to.

Food was amazing - no doubt! Service outstanding. Their flatbread to die for...
However... ?
Shop very expensive comparing to Grand Canyon shops - magnets $3 more, keychains $5. We bough for entire family so overpaid $30 for magnets and $15 for keychains. We were shocked! ?
We will visit the dinner again for sure in the near future!
Food and drinks: Amazing food!!!
