Ironically, the food was “good”. Unfortunately the service including the numerous cigarette breaks by staff followed by no washing of hands bothered us both. Slow service was blamed on the guests before us and the ladies restroom had not one, not two but four cockroaches . One was live. It’s a shame. I recommend that they hide their smoking spot…. And focus on better service. As for the roaches…..check your restrooms more often. This was a Saturday noon visit.

Great cabbage rolls and chicken Marsala. White linen tablecloths were a nice touch.

Each time I have been, my experience at Astoria has been excellent. Fresh and authentic food on par with that which you will find in the countryside of Greece. Highly recommend!

With our move from Flagstaff to Phoenix, we've had to eat out a lot. Stopped at this gem in Camp Verde in bad weather and was thoroughly impressed. Personalized service, good recommendations, and food you wouldn't find anywhere else, not generic. Google currently says $20-30 per person but 2 of us with a brushetta board, house made soup (borsh, bomb btw don't shy away from it) & an entrée & 4 alcoholic beverages, ticket wasn't even $85. Highly recommend if you want to eat off the beaten path. Quality to value is incredible. Absolutely going back to try something else.

Tommy served me at the bar. I was there at 2:30pm, it was just me and one other table. Had a great conversation and service with Tommy. He was very tentative and the service was amazing. The food was delicious. I had the special chicken that was deep fried, it was stuffed and was so good. Tommy made the suggestion and I was very impressed with the dish.I can't wait to come back.

The salad was delivered and without tasting it, my husband predicted we were about to eat the best meal of our lives. So so so happy we stopped. I hope we get to come back. So happy and satisfied with the yummiest food ever. And the service was phenomenal!!

3 of us visited recently and enjoyed it. One had chicken kiev, another chicken prezidente, and the third had pierogies. All were good. Wine included pinot grigio which was acceptable. The french chardonnay was better, although cheaper. Svetlana was a very pleasant hostess. We will go back and can recommend. Menu & website could use some proof reading.

Service was great. Food could have been seasoned a little more. I had the lamb shank, and it was extremely tender. Will try again. I look forward to trying the cabbage rolls and chocolate cake.

Excellent wine and great food at the Bistro in Camp Verde. We weren't sure what to expect since the meals listed on the menu were on the European side. However, we were pleasantly surprised. Hubby had the Polish Peiguis, which comes with homemade sour cream. You get 12, and he got a variety of the choices. I had the Lamb Shank, which came with Mash potatoes and a delicious brown gravy. We also had salad and bread with our meal. For dessert, we shared a layered chocolate cake, which was very decadent. An overall excellent experience.
