There are few things as consistent as the joy a Denny’s brings me at 1 a.m., especially when the ratio is three employees to one customer. Emilia was the right amount of welcoming energy and classic diner-waitress charm. Kevin was a perfect dash of local knowledge and positive attitude. It felt like entering a place I had been a million times.
I know the saying is “as American as apple pie.” For me, it’s “as American as Denny’s.”
Thank you for being open, consistent, and integral to this writer’s process. If I ever do manage to publish a bestseller, I’ll be sure to thank Denny’s, and the many, many wonderful employees of small-town cafes whose charm and uniqueness is hopefully reflected in the characters I put to paper.

I don’t even want to give two stars, but I would feel bad only giving one My food was cold. The waitress offered to heat it back up. She heated it back up in a microwave instead of just getting me fresh food and I told her I didn’t think I should pay for the meal because it was cold and not appealing and it was a meal that I usually get at different hours and it’s great. She told me she couldn’t refund my meal and that she wish she could. I am completely upset and will not ever go back here. I will drive to Cottonwood if I want Dennys absolute horrible experience that was my last visit $36 for something that was not even good or warm.

Great location, friendly staff who make you feel like home when you’re there. Will definitely visit again when in the Camp Verde area! Delicious strawberry banana smoothies! And mango flavored is just as good! Had my in-laws in town visiting/t this weekend with us. Made some new fun family memories here!

Hazel our server was amazing. She was very kind and immediately noticed our hash browns were not up to standard. She already had the kitchen remaking them when dropping off our food. She also fixed another dish that was not quite right. She was patient and apologetic. She gave excellent services despite the kitchen issues.

Had a few hiccups with the food but Hazel stepped up and made it right. Would definitely return in the future.
This has got to be the worst experience I have had at a Denny’s. Red flags galore women’s bathroom was closed and I had to use the Mens. Then I ordered the tropical green smoothie and got a piece of meat in it. The meal I ordered was the BLT& E but they he told me that they didn’t have tomatoes, lettuce or avocado. So I ordered the Philly cheesesteak omelet the meat was awful season with taco seasoning and the entire plate was over cooked. The hash browns were so burnt I don’t know how the server even brought it to our table. Terrible terrible.

Michelle is so kind and sweet! Very bubbly and on her A-game!! As soon as a glass was empty she filled it asap. Need napkins? No problem! She’s running with a handful before you know it. She remembered everything and all the extras. Even what we each had to drink. I don’t know how she does it but she’s extremely smart and on top of it. Thank you so much for amazing service and I hope you have a wonderful rest of the year!

I live near 2 Denny's, neither is worth going to, I've tried several times and have given up. I am never disappointed when I go to the Camp Verde location! The food is always exceptional 😋, the service is friendly and fast, and the place is clean, bravo to all that work here
